Abstract

The aim of this study to find out more Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) with illustrated storybook media at SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative method with study case approach. Data collection techniques are carried out namely observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the process of Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) with illustrated storybook media at SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati is an activity to increase students' interest in reading both in the school and in the home. In addition to Human Resources (HR) who play an important role in the task of the Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS), facilities and infrastructure are needed to support the smooth running of the task in order to realize a literate school environment and make libraries the heart of education. Gerakan Literasi Sekolah with illustrated storybook media at SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati has not run the program optimally either from the library environment, students, librarian, or the classroom teacher. Students are less familiar with reading material in the library and lack of student interest to visit the library. This show that SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati have applied the GLS program but not running optimally because there are many collections of reading but there are not many collections of illustrated storybooks. The stages of Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) in SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati were at habituation stage. In the habituation stage at SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati library there are three stages namely the preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analis Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dengan media buku cerita bergambar di SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dengan media buku cerita bergambar di SD Negeri Wotan02 Pati merupakan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di lingkungan rumah. Selain Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang berperan penting dalam tugas Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) sarana dan prasarana dibutuhkan untuk mendukung kelancaran tugas tersebut guna mewujudkan lingkungan sekolah yang literat serta menjadikan perpustakaan sebagai jantung pendidikan.Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dengan media buku cerita bergambar di SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati belum berjalan secara maksimal baik dari lingkungan perpustakaan, siswa, pustakawan, maupun guru kelas dalam menjalankan program tersebut. Siswa kurang mengenal bahan bacaan yang ada di perpustakaan dan kurangnya minat kunjung siswa keperpustakaan, dalam hal ini menunjukkan bahwa di SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati sudah menerapakan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah namun belum maksimal karena banyaknya koleksi dalam bentuk muatan bacaan tetapi koleksi dalam bentuk buku cerita bergambar kurang banyak. Tahapan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) di SD Negeri Wotan 02 Patiyang dijalankan baru tahap pembiasaan. Dalam tahap pembiasaan di perpustakaan SD Negeri Wotan 02 Pati terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi.
