Abstract

This bachelor thesis entitled “Evaluation of School Library Integrated Service Program (LTPS) of Central Java Provincial Library Using CIPP Evaluation Model”. The purpose of this research was to determine the application of CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation in School Library Integrated Service Program (LTPS). Measuring the success of a program can be seen from the level of achievement of the program that were planned in the beginning with the reality. This research was a qualitative research using the CIPP model by evaluating each evaluation component, that is context, input, process, and product. In this research, the author used two informants with purposive sampling technique. Data collection technique of this research used observation, interview, and documentation for primary data. Meanwhile, the second data used by the author was Panduan Layanan Terpadu Perpustakaan Sekolah book.Based on of the research that has been done, it wass found that in the evaluation context there was a background and supported by the Central Java Provincial Library’s primary aim to provide equitable distribution of service for the school library; from the input evaluation it was found that there was support for adequate facilities and infrastructure to run the LTPS program; the process evaluation stage in the LTPS program proven by the regularly and continually of the schedule of activities; the last stage in the evaluation of product objective to be achieved by Central Java Provincial Library through LTPS program has been perceived by program participants.

Skripsi ini berjudul “Evaluasi Program Layanan Terpadu Perpustakaan Sekolah (LTPS) Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah Berdasarkan Model Evaluasi CIPP”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan evaluasi model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) pada Program Layanan Terpadu Perpustakaan Sekolah (LTPS). Penentuan keberhasilan suatu program dlihat dari seberapa besar tingkat ketercapaian tujuan program yang telah direncanakan pada awal dengan realitanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan model CIPP dengan mengevaluasi tiap kompenen evaluasi, yakni: context (konteks), input (masukan), process (proses), dan product (produk). Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan dua orang informan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk data primer. Sedangkan untuk data sekunder penulis menggunakan buku Panduan Layanan Terpadu Perpustakaan Sekolah (LTPS). Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa pada evaluasi konteks adanya latar belakang dan di dukung oleh tujuan utama Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah untuk memberikan pemerataan layanan bagi perpustakaan sekolah; pada evaluasi input ditemukan adanya dukungan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai untuk menjalankan program LTPS; tahapan evaluasi proses pada program LTPS dibuktikan dengan adanya jadwal kegiatan yang dilakukan secara teratur dan terus menerus; tahapan terakhir pada evaluasi produk tujuan yang ingin dicapai oleh Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah melalui program LTPS telah dirasakan oleh peserta program.
