Abstract

The thesis entitled "The Impact of Intellectual Capital on Librarian Performance of UPT Diponegoro University Libraries" aims to determine the level of impact of intellectual capital on librarian performance based on the average answers of respondents' statements. The theory used to measure the impact of intellectual capital is Bedford's (2015) type of intellectual capital assets, namely tacit knowledge, skills, attitude, explicit knowledge, procedural knowledge, culture, networks, and reputations. This study uses quantitative research methods descriptive analysis with path analysis. The population in this study were active students of Diponegoro University in 2019-2020 with a sample of 269 respondents who were obtained using tables of Issac and Michael and accidental sampling. The results of this study indicate that the level of impact based on the tacit knowledge and skills indicator produces the highest mean of 3.93 which is included in the impact category, attitude and explicit knowledge indicators produce the highest mean of 3.83 which is included in the impact category, meanwhile based on procedural indicators. knowledge produces the highest mean of 3.81 which is included in the impact category, based on the culture indicator it produces the highest mean of 3.86 which is included in the impact category, then the networks indicator produces the highest mean of 3.90 and the reputation indicator produces the highest mean of 3.92 which also fall into the impact category. Thus, based on the results of data analysis calculations, it is known that the types of intellectual capital assets that are in the librarian have an impact on the librarian's performance of the UPT Diponegoro University Library. Based on the results of this study, the reputation indicator produced the highest mean value among the eight indicators of types of intellectual capital assets at other UPT Librarians, Diponegoro University Libraries, while indicators of procedural knowledge produced the lowest mean value.
Skripsi berjudul “DampakIntellectual Capital terhadap Kinerja Pustakawan UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Diponegoro” bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat dampakintellectual capital terhadap kinerja pustakawan berdasarkan rata-rata jawaban dari pernyataan responden. Teori yang digunakan untuk mengukur dampak intellectual capital adalah jenis aset intellectual capital Bedford (2015) yaitutacit knowledge, skills, attitude, explicit knowledge, procedural knowledge, culture, networks, dan reputations. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif analisis deskriptif dengan path analysis. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Universitas Diponegoro tahun 2019-2020 dengan sampelsebanyak 269 responden yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan tabel Issac dan Michael danaccidental sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat dampak berdasarkan indikatortacit knowledge dan skills menghasilkan mean tertinggi sebesar 3,93 yang masuk dalam kategori berdampak, indikator attitude dan explicit knowledge menghasilkan mean tertinggi sebesar 3,83 yang masuk dalam kategori berdampak, sementara itu berdasarkan indikator procedural knowledge menghasilkan mean tertinggi sebesar 3,81 masuk dalam kategori berdampak, berdasarkan indikator culture menghasilkan mean tertinggi sebesar 3,86 yang masuk dalam kategori berdampak, lalu indikator networks menghasilkan mean tertinggi sebesar 3,90 dan indikator reputations menghasilkan mean tertinggi sebesar 3,92 yang juga termasuk dalam kategori berdampak.Sehingga, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis data diketahui bahwa jenis aset intellectual capital yang ada pada pustakawan memiliki dampak pada kinerja pustakawan UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Diponegoro. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut indikator reputations menghasilkan nilai mean tertinggi yang paling tinggi diantara delapan indikator jenis aset intelectual capital pada pustakawan UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Diponegoro yang lainnya, sementara indikator procedural knowledgemenghasilkan nilaimean tertinggi yang paling rendah.
