Abstract
The purpose of this research is to underline the stereotype of blonde women coming from the. 1920s era based on The Great Gatsby (2013) film. This research uses descriptive qualitative method and the data itself was collected through the film after the writer watches it carefully. She analyses the film through the lens of feminism, underlying the stereotype represented by
the female character named Daisy Buchanan. The writer adopts ecofeminisme’s by Karen J. Warren concept of feminise and Gill’s concept stereotype . The writer finds how society overlooks Daisy Buchanan as the blonde woman in their social life. As the result, Daisy Buchanan is indeed a character who is created by society as a typical blonde woman of the
era.
