Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan merancang sistem distribusi water refrigerant dan Air Handling Unit (AHU) berbasis PLC Modicon Schneider TM241 CE24T pada mesin mini aircooled chiller. Tujuannya adalah mengotomatisasi kontrol pendinginan agar lebih responsif dan efisien. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi integrasi sensor waterflow (HSC), kendali kecepatan pompa dan kipas via PWM dengan rangkaian level shifter dan filter LC, serta sensor RTD PT100 untuk umpan balik suhu ruangan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem berhasil mempertahankan kestabilan aliran air dengan rata-rata 2,015 L/menit, meskipun terdapat deviasi sebesar 9,5% dari sasaran teoretis (2,21 L/menit) akibat hambatan (head loss) pada saluran pipa evaporator. Logika kendali kecepatan kipas terbukti sangat responsif; pada variasi speed 3 (60% duty cycle) sampai speed 1 (40%), sistem mampu menurunkan suhu ruangan dari 24,4°C ke 19,97°C dalam waktu 10 menit 51 detik. Kesimpulannya, integrasi PLC dan komponen otomasi pada sistem AHU ini mampu menangani beban pendinginan secara adaptif, efektif, dan efisien.
