Abstract
salah satu penyebab keterlambatan distribusi.
dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan tahapan BPI yaitu: organizing for improvement,
understanding the process, streamlining, measurement and control, serta continuous
improvement.
pencapaian KPI mendekati target 98%. Namun, implementasi sistem masih menghadapi
sepenuhnya menampilan live tracking.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyse the implementation of a shipment monitoring system in the
distribution process using a Business Process Improvement (BPI) approach at PT XYZ
Jakarta. The background to this study is based on the problem of delays in goods delivery,
which has an impact on the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for
delivery, which are still below the target of 98%. The previous manual distribution
monitoring process was deemed inefficient and identified as one of the causes of
distribution delays. The research method employed a qualitative approach, with data
collected through interviews, observations, and document reviews. Analysis was
conducted following the BPI stages: organising for improvement, understanding the
process, streamlining, measurement and control, and continuous improvement. The
research results indicate that the implementation of a digital-based shipment monitoring
system can improve the efficiency and transparency of the distribution process, as
evidenced by an increase in efficiency from 50% to 90% and KPI achievement
approaching the 98% target. However, the implementation of the system still faces several
challenges, such as ongoing miscommunication with vendors regarding data input, the
absence of specific operational standards for the system, and the lack of full live tracking
functionality. Therefore, continuous improvement is necessary through strengthening the
information system and training human resources to support the effectiveness of the
implemented monitoring system.
