Abstract

Pengoperasian Instalansi Pengelolaan Air Limbah (IPAL) Komunal yang dikelola KSM Guyub Rukun, Dusun Tegalsari RT02/RW02 Kota Salatiga diharapkan mampu mengurangi pencemaran air di Sungai Cengek. Namun, hasil uji COD, BOD, dan P-Total dari pipa outlet justru melampaui baku mutu kualitas air sungai menurut PP No. 22/2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efisiensi fikoremediasi effluent IPAL Komunal menggunakan Chlorella pyrenoidosa H.Chick, menganalisis persepsi responden mengenai pengelolaan limbah pada IPAL Komunal KSM Guyub Rukun, serta merancang strategi yang tepat dalam pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga berbasis masyarakat. Uji fikoremediasi dilakukan pada laboratorium dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Persepsi responden diperoleh menggunakan metode survei dan dianalisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sementara strategi pengelolaan lingkungan dirancang menggunakan metode SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats). Berdasarkan uji fikoremediasi, diketahui kepadatan dan laju pertumbuhan tertinggi diperoleh bioreaktor effluent 30% sementara bioreaktor effluent 50% menunjukkan nilai klorofil tertinggi yang ditunjang removal efficiency terbaik untuk N-Total, P-Total, TSS, dan COD sebesar 99,64%, 99,64%, 99,54%, serta 87,97%. Hasil uji variansi menunjukkan nilai kepadatan, laju pertumbuhan dan removal efficiency TDS serta COD memberikan nilai signifikasi p < 0,05. Responden memiliki persepsi yang seragam dalam mendukung pengolahan limbah rumah tangga melalui IPAL Komunal, tetapi perlu memperhatikan pemantauan kualitas effluent, peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, serta pengaktifan kembali aktivitas KSM yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga. Strategi yang disusun dalam pengelolaan lingkungan berbasis masyarakat antara lain pembuatan jadwal pemantauan rutin, edukasi masyarakat, pemberdayaan dan pelatihan masyarakat, kerjasama dalam pemantauan lingkungan, pemprosesan hasil pengolahan limbah rumah tangga, serta pengaktifan kepengurusan dan kegiatan KSM Guyub Rukun.

The operation of the communal wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) managed by KSM Guyub Rukun, Tegalsari Hamlet RT02/RW02 Salatiga City, is expected to reduce water pollution in the Cengek River. However, the COD, BOD, and P-Total test results from the outlet pipe exceeded the river water quality standards according to PP No. 22/2021. This study aims to assess the efficiency of phytoremediation of IPAL Komunal effluent using Chlorella pyrenoidosa H.Chick, analyze respondents' perceptions of waste management at IPAL Komunal KSM Guyub Rukun, and design appropriate strategies in community-based household waste management. The phycoremediation test was carried out in the laboratory using the Complete Randomised Design (CRD) method. Respondents' perceptions were obtained using a survey method and analyzed using a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, environmental management strategies were designed using the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats) method. Based on the phycoremediation test, it is known that the 30% effluent bioreactor obtained the highest density and growth rate. In comparison, the 50% effluent bioreactor showed the highest chlorophyll value supported by the best removal efficiency for N-Total, P-Total, TSS, and COD of 99.64%, 99.64%, 99.54%, and 87.97%. The variance test results showed that TDS and COD's density value, growth rate, and removal efficiency gave a significance value of p < 0.05. Respondents have a uniform perception of supporting household waste treatment through IPAL Komunal but need to monitor effluent quality, increase community participation, and reactivate KSM activities related to household waste management. Strategies developed in community-based environmental management include making routine monitoring schedules, community education, community empowerment and training, cooperation in environmental monitoring, processing the results of household waste treatment, and activating the management and activities of KSM Guyub Rukun.
