Abstract

The development of an area can be marked by the need for land which continues to increase along with the increase in population and the development of the regional economy. As the population
increases, the existence of land becomes increasingly threatened because the need for land increases every year while the available land does not increase by itself. Meeting land needs is done by acquiring land belonging to the community, especially in developing countries which require largescale land acquisition for development. such as the development of the Kendal industrial area which acquired 2,700ha of community land. This will certainly have an impact on the people around the Kendal industrial area starting from changes in livelihoods, changes in income levels and changes in social values within it, the Kendal industrial area is included in the Special Economic Zone which is
projected to support the regional and state economy.
