Pengembangan Pembibitan mangrove di Mangunharjo Kecamatan Tugu Semarang,
Jawa Tengah. (Aninditia Sabdaningsih dan Sigit Febrianto)

Mangunharjo merupakan salah satu Kecamatan Tugu yang berlokasi di Semarang
Jawa Tengah. Wilayah Mangunharjo pernah mengalami rob akibat alih guna lahan
mangrove menjadi tambak. Hal ini mendorong warga sekitar untuk menanam
mangrove kembali serta melakukan pembibitan yang dapat dijual kembali. Tujuan
dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses dan teknik pembibitan mangrove,
tingkat kelayakan finansial usaha pembibitan mangrove dan mengetahui strategi
pengembangan usaha pembibitan mangrove di Mangunharjo, Kecamatan Tugu
Semarang Jawa Tengah. Metode dari pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah
wawancara dan observasi. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu teknik pembibitan dilakukan
secara tradisional. Usaha pembibitan di Mangunharjo berdasarkan hasil analisis R/C
ratio dianggap layak dengan nilai lebih dari 1 yaitu 1,077 dan melalui pendekatan
Break Even Point (BEP) mendapatkan hasil untuk BEP biaya produksi jika penjualan
mencapai 1.257 bibit dan penjualan bibit dikatakan impas jika memperoleh
pendapatansebesarRp1.508.823,53.Berdasarkananalisis(SWOT),strengths(kekuatan),weakne
ss(kelemahan),oppurtunities(peluang),thtreas(ancaman) usaha pembibitan ini berada pada
kuadran III. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa peluang usaha pembibitan sangat besar, namun
masih menghadapi kendala secara internal.Maka diperlukan peningkatkan promosi, sistem
pengadministrasian yang baik, dan partisipasi dari masyarakat.

Mangunharjo is one of the Tugu Districts located in Semarang, Central Java.
The Mangunharjo area has experienced rob due to the conversion of mangrove land
to ponds. This has encouraged local residents to replant mangroves and conduct
nurseries that can be resold. The purpose of this study was to determine the process
and techniques of mangrove nurseries, the level of financial feasibility of mangrove
nurseries and determine the development strategy of mangrove nurseries in
Mangunharjo, Tugu District, Semarang, Central Java. The method of collecting data
in this study is interview and observation. The results obtained are the traditional
nursery techniques. The nursery business in Mangunharjo based on the results of the
R/C ratio analysis is considered feasible with a value of more than 1, namely 1.077
and through the Break Even Point (BEP) approach, results for BEP production costs
if sales reach 1,257 seedlings and seedling sales are said to be break even if income
is Rp. 1,508,823 53. Based on the analysis (SWOT), strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, threats, this nursery business is in quadrant III. This shows that the
nursery business opportunity is very large, but it still faces obstacles internally.
Therefore, it is necessary to increase promotion, a good administration system, and
participation from the community.
