Abstract
Kerusakan yang dilakukan manusia menjadi pembahasan penting karena dapat menyebabkan permasalahan lingkungan. Salah satu usaha meminimalisir hal tersebut dengan membuat pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan. Pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan diperlukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan yang bisa diterapkan di institusi pendidikan. Salah satu institusi pendidikan yang menerapkan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan adalah SMAN 1 Gondangwetan Pasuruan yang menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivistik. Tujuan studi ini yaitu menganalisis penerapan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivistik. Studi ini berjenis studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan yakni kepala sekolah, guru dan peserta didik. Adapun metode pengumpulan data berupa pengamatan, wawancara dan dokumenter. Analisis data dalam studi ini yaitu analisis penjodohan pola oleh Robert K Yin. Hasil studi menjelaskan bahwasanya implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan dengan pendekatan konstruktivistik diterapkan dengan beberapa strategi: 1) integrasi kurikulum, 2) sosialisasi, 3) kegiatan sekolah dan 4) budaya sekolah. Terdapat berbagai faktor penghambat dan juga faktor pendukung terkait penerapan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan. Kemudian guru memiliki peran yang signifikan terkait keberhasilan penerapan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan. Peran guru yakni mengajar dan mendidik siswa untuk menyadarkan serta menanamkan karakter siswa agar memiliki kepedulian kepada lingkungannya.

Environmental damage by humans is an important discussion
because it can cause environmental problems. One effort to overcome this is through character education that cares about the environment. Environmental care character education is needed to overcome environmental problems. Environmental care character education is very important to be implemented in educational institutions. One of the educational institutions that implements environmental care character education is SMAN 1 Gondangwetan Pasuruan. The application of environmental care character education uses a constructivist approach.
This study aims to analyze the implementation of environmental care character education using a constructivist approach. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The subjects in this study were school principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentaries. The data analysis used is pattern matching analysis by Robert K. Yin. The results showed that the implementation of environmental care character education with a constructivist approach was implemented with several strategies: (1) curriculum integration, (2) outreach, (3) school activities, and (4) school culture. In practice, there are several factors that hinder and support the implementation of environmental care character education. Then, the teacher has a very important role in the process of successfully implementing environmental care character education. The role of the teacher is to teach and educate students to awaken and shape the character of students to care about the environment.
