Abstract

Industrial business players are competing to maximize their resources and assets along with the development of technology and knowledge in human life so that work productivity in human resources is an important component to be improved. The level of employee productivity can be influenced by employee work motivation and physical work environment. PT Inocycle Technology Group Tbk Semarang Regency is one of the manufacturing industries located in Semarang Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and physical work environment on the work productivity of production employees of PT Inocycle Technology Group Tbk, Semarang Regency.
The type of this research is descriptive research. The sampling technique uses probability sampling technique with simple random sampling method. Collecting data using a questionnaire distributed to 104 respondents who are production employees at PT Inocycle Technology Group Tbk Semarang Regency. The data analysis method used is regression analysis using the SPSS 25 application.
The results of this study are in accordance with the research objective by showing that there is an influence of work motivation and physical work environment on employee work productivity either partially or simultaneously. The variabel that has the most dominant influence on work productivity is the physical work environment variabel at 41.2%. Meanwhile, motivation contributed 35.9 percent of the influence.
Suggestions given to PT Inocycle Technology Group Tbk Semarang Regency on the aspect of motivation need to improve the quality of supervision and incentives for production employees. Aspects of the physical work environment need to do additional infrastructure such as additional ventilation and circulation, and provide earplugs to each production employee. All of this needs to be done so that employees feel comfortable and increase their work productivity.
