Abstract

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe any social criticisms that contains in Kanzaki Iori’s songs. Especially in “Inochi Ni Kirawarete Iru”, “Adult Children”, dan “Soshite Jidai Wa Tsudzuku”. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive following by note-taking technique. The first theory that used are theory of stratum norms by Roman Ingarden, this theory used for analyzing the scruture of each lyric. The second theory is Wellek and Warren’s theory of sociology of literatures, focused on the sociology of literature of readers or in this research is listeners. This theory is used to analyze any social criticism on each song lyrics.

The result of this research is that in the lyrics of “Inochi Ni Kirawarete Iru” contains cricticism of human selfishness and criticism of people who waster their lives. Then in the song “Adult Children” there are criticisms for parents who abandoning their children and abusing them. The last one, on song “Soshite Jidai Wa Tsuduku” there are criticism for social media addict behavior which is divided into 1) Criticism of social meda itself and 2) the decreased of human awareness as a result of social media addiction.
