Abstract

Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman larutan asam jawa (Tamarindus indica) terhadap kekerasan resin komposit nanohibrid dan nanofil.
Metode : penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimental laboratory dengan pre-test - post-test only control group design menggunakan 28 sampel resin komposit nanohibrid dan nanofil, dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok perlakuan dengan masing masing 7 sampel. Kekerasan resin komposit nanohibrid dan nanofil dilakukan pengukuran menggunakan Vickers Hardness Tester sebelum dan sesudah perendaman. Hasil : uji One Sample Test Resin komposit nanohibrid perendaman aquades p=0,021(p>0,05) tidak signifikan. Resin komposit nanohibrid perendaman asam jawa, resin komposit nanofil perendaman aquades dan asam jawa p=0.000 signifikan. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara kekerasan resin komposit pada perendaman aquades dan asam jawa. Kesimpulan : terdapat pengaruh perendaman larutan asam jawa (Tamarindus indica) terhadap kekerasan resin komposit nanohibrid dan nanofil.
