Abstract

In the era of globalization, the human need for appearance is growing. According to BPS data, the fashion industry continues to develop where the creative economy contributes 7.38% to the total national economy and the fashion sector 18.15%. Semarang as the capital of Central Java has the potential as a center for the fashion and beauty industry because it has various kinds of fashion and beauty activities that are held annually. To support these activities, it is necessary to have a forum that functions to accommodate community activities that are involved in the field of beauty and fashion (education, events, information, communication, promotions, transactions), which have a distinctive and contemporary architectural style and respond to weather conditions and the existing tropical climate. in Indonesia. The existence of a Fashion and Beauty Center in Semarang, it is necessary to have a building appearance that is able to attract visitors. By using Contemporary Architectural Approach.
The preparation of the Architectural Planning and Design Program Foundation (LP3A) aims to plan and design a beauty and fashion center facility in Semarang with a contemporary architectural approach.
