Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Analisis Rekonstruksi Arsip sebagai Solusi Permasalahan
Arsip Inaktif Tidak Teratur di Balai Taman Nasional Karimunjawa”. Tujuan dari
penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan-tahapan rekonstruksi arsip yang
dilakukan di Balai Taman Nasional Karimunjawa serta untuk mengetahui
kendala-kendala yang menghambat jalannya kegiatan rekonstruksi arsip.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.
Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, studi
pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala
Subbagian Tata Usaha, Arsiparis dan Staf Subbagian Tata Usaha Balai Taman
Nasional Karimunjawa. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Balai Taman
Nasional Karimunjawa melakukan kegiatan rekonstruksi arsip untuk
menyelesaikan permasalahan penumpukan arsip inaktif tidak teratur. Dalam
pelaksanaan kegiatan rekonstruksi arsip, dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan
meliputi tahapan survei arsip, pemilahan arsip, pengelompokkan arsip,
pengklasifikasian arsip, pendeskripsian arsip, input data ke komputer/laptop,
pembungkusan arsip, tahapan penomoran dan manufer fisik arsip, tahapan
Pengeboksan, dan terakhir penataan ke dalam lemari penyimpanan arsip. Faktor
penghambat jalannya rekonstruksi arsip di Balai Taman Nasional Karimunjawa
adalah tidak adanya ruangan pengolahan arsip sehingga pengolahan arsip
dilakukan dengan meminjam ruang kerja pegawai. Kemudian kurangnya pegawai
yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan kearsipan, sehingga hal tersebut
menghambat jalannya kegiatan rekonstruksi arsip di Balai Taman Nasional
Karimunjawa.
This thesis is entitles "Analysis of Reconstruction of Archives as Solution to
Problems of Inactive Irregular Archives in Karimunjawa National Park Hall".
The purpose of this research is to find out the stages of archival reconstruction
carried out in Karimunjawa National Park Hall and to find out the obstacles that
hamper the course of archive reconstruction activities. This study used qualitative
methods with a case study approach. The method of data collection is done by
observation, interview, literature study, and documentation. The informants in this
study were the Head of the Administration Subdivision, Archivist and
Administrative Staff of the Karimunjawa National Park Subdivision. The results of
this study show that Karimunjawa National Park Hall conducted archive
reconstruction activities to solve irregular inactive archive buildup problems. In
the implementation of archive reconstruction activities, it is carried out through
several stages including archival survey stages, archive sorting, archive
grouping, archive classification, archival description, data input to computers /
laptops, archive wrapping, archival numbering and maneuvering stages,
oxidation stages, and finally structuring into the file storage cabinet. The
inhibiting factor for the running of archive reconstruction in Karimunjawa
National Park Hall is the absence of an archive processing room so that the
processing of records is done by borrowing employee workspaces. Then the lack
of employees who have archival education background, so that it hampers the
course of archive reconstruction activities in Karimunjawa National Park Hall.
