Abstract

This study entitled “Utilization Analysis of iPusnas with android-based
application in National Library of Republic Indonesia” by using the theory of
Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The purpose of this research is to know the
utilization of iPusnas with Android-based application as service of National
Library of Republic of Indonesia based on ease of use aspect and usability aspect
of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. This research used qualitative
research type with case study approach. Informants were selected using purposive
sampling. Informants selected in this study were the users of iPusnas applications
from various professions. Data collection methods used by researchers was
observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicated that
the iPusnas application fulfilled two aspects of the theory of TAM, aspects of ease
of use and usability. Ease to its users considered from how to find and read books,
and easy to control applications according to user needs, content and menus in
the iPusnas application could be easily understood. IPusnas application was also
flexible because the users can take advantage of this application anywhere and
anytime according to their wishes and this made the iPusnas application to be
easy to use. From the aspect of usability, iPusnas clearly useful. IPusnas
application was able to help facilitate the work of its users from various
professions and help finish their work quickly. The performance of the users' work
was also increasing because of this application. The benefits, productivity of its
users increased since using this application, because their work assessed more
effective with this iPusnas application. So, iPusnas application was very useful for
the work of its users.

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Pemanfaatan Aplikasi iPusnasBerbasisAndroid di
Perpustakan Nasional Republik Indonesia” dengan menggunakan teori
Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengetahui pemanfaatan aplikasi iPusnas berbasis Android sebagai layanan
Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia berdasarkan aspek kemudahan
penggunaan dan aspek kegunaan dengan teori Technology Acceptance Model
(TAM). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan
studi kasus. Informan dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Informan yang
dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah para pengguna aplikasi iPusnas dari berbagai
kalangan profesi. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu
melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan
bahwa aplikasi iPusnas memenuhi dua aspek teori TAM, yaitu aspek kemudahan
penggunaan dan kegunaan. Kemudahan kepada para penggunanya dilihat dari
cara mencari dan membaca buku, dan mudah mengendalikan aplikasi sesuai
kebutuhan penggunanya, konten dan menu-menu di aplikasi iPusnas dapat secara
mudah dipahami. Aplikasi iPusnas juga fleksibel karena para pengguna dapat
memanfaatkan aplikasi ini dimana saja dan kapan saja sesuai keinginan mereka
dan hal ini membuat aplikasi iPusnas menjadi mudah untuk digunakan. Dari aspek
kegunaan, aplikasi iPusnas terbukti berguna. Aplikasi iPusnas mampu membantu
memudahkan pekerjaan para penggunanya dari berbagai kalangan profesi serta
membantu menyelesaikan pekerjaan mereka dengan cepat. Kinerja pekerjaan para
pengguna juga menjadi meningkat karena aplikasi ini. Manfaatnya, produktifitas
para penggunanya meningkat sejak menggunakan aplikasi ini, karena pekerjaan
mereka dinilai menjadi lebih efektif dengan aplikasi iPusnas ini. Jadi, aplikasi
iPusnas sangat bermanfaat bagi pekerjaan para penggunanya.
