Abstract

This research entitles “Rescuing Archives of Regional Apparatus Organizationsin
the the Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah after
Merger of Central Java Province Government.” The purpose of the study is to find
out the process of rescuing archives after of regional apparatus organizationsin the
the Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah after merger
of Central Java Province government. The research method used in this study is a
qualitative method. The research used a purposive sampling technique with two
informants in this study. The informants used in this research are the head of
Acquisition and an expert staff of Acquisition Office of Dinas Kearsipan dan
Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah. The data collection technique in this
study used interviews and observation to obtain primary data. The data obtained is
then processed using thematic analysis. Based on the result of the analysis it is
found 3 themes that are the preparation of rescuing the archives, the process of
rescuing the archive as well as the obstacles and efforts to rescue the archive. The
first theme is the preparation of rescuing archives to do things before the activities
of rescuing the archives. Things that can be done in preparation for rescuing
archives by providing or having appropriate procedures, collecting OPD
(Organisasi Perangkat Daerah), forming a team from the archival Institutions, doing
a surveys, and using a form format that is adapted to Perka ANRI. The second theme
is the process of rescuing the archive. At this stage, archival data colection,
verification and evaluation archive, and submission of archives executed, time of
rescuing archives, fasilities and infrastructure as well as saved document. The third
theme is the obstacles that occur when the process of rescuing archives and efforts
to deal with these obstacles.
Skripsi ini berjudul “Penyelamatan Arsip Organisasi Perangkat Daerah di Dinas
Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah Pasca Penggabungan
Instansi Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Tengah.” Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengetahui proses penyelamatan arsip organisasi perangkat Daerah di Dinas
Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah Pasca Penggabungan
Instansi Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik
purposive sampling dengan dua informan dalam penelitian ini. Informan yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sie Akuisisi dan Staf Ahli Sie
Akuisisi Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Teknik
pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dan observasi
untuk memperoleh data primer. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah
menggunakan analisis tematik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan,
ditemukan 3 tema yaitu persiapan penyelamatan arsip, proses penyelamatan arsip,
serta kendala dan upaya penyelamatan arsip. Tema pertama adalah persiapan
penyelamatan arsip untuk melakukan hal-hal sebelum dilaksanakan kegiatan
penyelamatan arsip. Hal-hal yang dapat dilakukan dalam persiapan penyelamatan
arsip dengan menyediakan atau memiliki prosedur yang sesuai, mengumpulkan
OPD (Organisasi Perangkat Daerah), membentuk tim dari dinas kearsipan,
melakukan survey, serta menggunakan format formulir yang disesuaikan dengan
Perka ANRI. Tema kedua adalah proses penyelamatan arsip. Pada tahapan ini
dilakukan pendataan arsip, melakukan verifikasi dan penilaian arsip, penyerahan
arsip, waktu penyelamatan arsip, sarana dan prasarana serta dokumen yang
diselamatkan. Tema ketiga adalah kendala yang terjadi ketika proses penyelamatan
arsip dan upaya dalam menghadapi kendala tersebut.
