Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “peran pustakawan bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi
Universitas Diponegoro dalam penyusunan tugas kuliah melalui program
Academic Writing Skills”. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengeksplorasi
peran pustakawan bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Diponegoro
dalam penyusunan tugas kuliah melalui program Academic Writing Skills. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan
data yaitu wawancara terstruktur dan studi dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan
dengan melibatkan lima informan yaitu satu orang pustakawan dan empat orang
mahasiswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Thematic
Analysis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tiga tema yang berkaitan dengan peran
pustakawan bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Diponegoro dalam
penyusunan tugas kuliah melalui program Academic Writing Skills. Tiga tema
dijelaskan dengan baik oleh pernyataan informan yang telah mengikuti
pelaksanaan secara offline maupun online, yaitu program Academic Writing Skills,
sistem pengajaran, dan peran pustakawan perguruan tinggi. Terdapat kendala bagi
pustakawan yaitu proses penyusunan jadwal pembelajaran mahasiswa dengan
pelaksanaan program Academic Writing Skills yang juga berpengaruh terhadap
jadwal rekrutmen beserta mahasiswa sebagai calon asisten trainer. Hasil analisis
menjelaskan bahwa adanya interaksi antara pustakawan dengan bantuan trainer
terhadap mahasiswa dalam mendidik, mengajar, dan melatih di Fakultas Psikologi
Universitas Diponegoro serta wajib bagi mahasiswa untuk mengikuti sebagai
persyaratan dalam mendaftar sidang skripsi
This research is entitled “The role of librarians for collage students of the Faculty
of Psychology, Diponegoro University in compile college assignments through the
Academic Writing Skills program". The purpose of the research is to explore the
role of librarians for collage students of the Faculty of Psychology, Diponegoro
University in compile college assignments through the Academic Writing Skills
program. The research method employed was qualitative method with data
collection techniques through structured interviews and documentation study. The
interviews were conducted by involving five informants, namely one librarian and
four college students. The data obtained were analyzed using Thematic Analysis.
The results of the analysis indicates three themes related to the role of librarians
in the program Academic Writing Skills at the Faculty of Psychology, University
of Diponegoro. The three themes describe the efforts to emerge which is well
explained by the statements of informants who follows the offline and online
implementation, namely the Academic Writing Skills program, the teaching
system, and the role of college librarians. There are obstacles for librarians in the
process of preparing learning schedules and then obstacles in the implementation
of the Academic Writing Skills program which also affected the recruitment
schedule and college student as assistant trainer candidates. The results of the
analysis explained that there was an interaction between librarians and trainers'
assistance to collage students in educate, teach, and train at the Faculty of
Psychology, Diponegoro University and it is mandatory for collage students to
participate as a requirement to register a thesis
