Abstract

Burnout merupakan kondisi stres di tempat kerja secara terus menerus. Setiap orang
akan menunjukan gejala burnout yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan keadan tiap
individu maupun lingkungan sekitar. Apabila kondisi ini dibiarkan berlarut-larut
akan mengakibatkan nurunnya gairah untuk menjalankan kegiatan ataupun
pekerjaan.penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Burnout Terhadap Kinerja Pustakawan
di Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Semarang”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk
mengetahui seberapa berpengaruh burnout terhadap kinerja pustakawan di Dinas
Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada
penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan pengujian meliputi uji validitas, uji
reliabilitas, uji analisis linier sederhana, uji analisis deskriptif, dan uji determinasi.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan adanya pengaruh burnout terhadap kinerja
pustakwan di Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Semarang. Hal ini dibuktikan
dengn hasil thitung > ttabel pada sig. 0,05 yaitu 7,873 > 2,096, maka dapat disimpulkan
bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan. Pada penelitian ini juga
mendapatkan hasil hasil koefisien determinasi sebesar 72,9% yang artinya burnout
memberikan kontribusi terhadap kinerja pustakan sebesar 72,9% dan 27,1% sisanya
disebabkan oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak diamati.
Burnout is a constant stressful condition at work. Each person will show different
symptoms of burnout according to the circumstances of each individual and the
environment. If this condition is allowed to drag on, it will result in a decrease in
enthusiasm for carrying out activities or work. This study is entitled "The Effect of
Burnout on Librarian Performance in the Archives and Libraries Office of
Semarang City". The purpose of this study was to determine how much effect
burnout has on the performance of librarians at the Semarang City Library and
Archives Service. The research method used in this research is quantitative with
testing including validity test, reliability test, simple linear analysis test, descriptive
analysis test, and determination test. The results of this study found the effect of
burnout on the performance of librarians in the Archives and Libraries Office of
Semarang City. This is evidenced by the results of t count> t table in sig. 0.05,
namely 7.873> 2.096, it can be concluded that there is a strong and significant
influence. In this study also obtained the results of the coefficient of determination
of 72.9%, which means that burnout contributes to the performance of librarians by
72.9% and the remaining 27.1% is caused by other variables that are not observed
