Abstract

Latar Belakang : Capaian kasus TB paru merupakan angka penemuan kasus yang merupakan prosentase jumlah pasien baru BTA (Bakteri Tahan Asam) positif yang ditemukan dan diobati dibandingkan dengan jumlah pasien baru BTA positif yang diperkirakan ada dalam suatu wilayah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan capaian kasus program TB paru oleh koordinator P2TB di wilayah kerja Puskesmas se-Kabupaten Kendal.
Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah koordinator Program Pengendalian TB (P2TB) sebanyak 30 orang sehingga sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh populasi atau populasi penelitian. Pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman.
Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan dan motivasi terhadap capaian kasus TB. Di sisi lain pelatihan, tingkat pendidikan, masa kerja, penjaringan suspek TB, dan sikap tidak berhubungan capaian kasus TB.
Kesimpulan : Variabel penelitian yang berhubungan dengan capaian kasus TB di wilayah kerja Puskesmas se Kabupaten Kendal adalah pengetahuan dan motivasi. Sedangkan yang tidak berhubungan adalah pelatihan, tingkat pendidikan, masa kerja, penjarungan suspek TB, dan sikap.

Background : The achievement of pulmonary TB cases is the case finding rate which is the percentage of the number of new smear positive (Acid-Resistant Bacteria) positive patients found and treated compared to the number of new smear positive patients estimated to exist in an area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to the achievement of pulmonary TB program cases by the P2TB coordinator in the working area of Public Health Centers throughout Kendal District.
Methods : This research is an analytic study with a cross sectional research design. The population of this study is the coordinator of the TB Control Program (P2TB) as many as 30 people so that the sample used is the entire population or study population. Processing and analyzing data using quantitative methods with univariate and bivariate analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test.
Results : The results showed that there was a relationship of knowledge and motivation to the achievement of TB cases. On the other hand, training, education level, years of service, screening of TB suspects, and attitudes are not related to the achievement of TB cases.
Conclusion : Research variables related to the achievement of TB cases in the working area of Puskesmas throughout Kendal Regency are knowledge and motivation. Meanwhile, those that are not related are training, education level, years of service, screening of TB suspects, and attitudes.
