Abstract

Ketergantungan terhadap energi fosil dan rendahnya pemanfaatan bioenergi di Indonesia menuntut pengembangan sumber energi alternatif yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis karakteristik biofisik dan potensi vegetasi di KHDTK Wanadipa Undip sebagai penyedia bahan baku biomassa energi, (2) menentukan alternatif produk bioenergi paling potensial melalui pendekatan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), dan (3) menganalisis kelayakan usaha pengembangan bioenergi terpilih dari aspek ekonomi. Analisis biofisik dilakukan melalui penilaian kondisi lahan dan inventarisasi vegetasi. Penentuan prioritas alternatif bioenergi menggunakan AHP dengan enam kriteria evaluasi, yaitu biaya produksi, harga pasar, ketersediaan bahan baku, tingkat teknologi, kebutuhan lahan, dan dukungan regulasi. Analisis kelayakan finansial dilakukan menggunakan indikator NPV, IRR, BCR, dan Payback Period terhadap tiga skenario usaha: biopellet gamal, biopellet kaliandra, dan biopellet kaliandra yang terintegrasi dengan budidaya madu kelulut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KHDTK Wanadipa Undip layak dikembangkan sebagai kawasan pemasok biomassa energi dengan potensi budidaya bahan baku kayu dan non-kayu dari 10 spesies tanaman kehutanan. Analisis AHP menempatkan biopellet sebagai produk bioenergi paling potensial untuk dikembangkan. Perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa skenario usaha biopellet dari budidaya gamal menghasilkan nilai NPV positif dengan IRR sebesar 17,8%. Kelayakan usaha meningkat pada skenario penggunaan bahan baku dari budidaya kaliandra yang lebih produktif, dimana IRR mencapai 20%.

Indonesia’s high dependency on fossil fuels and the limited utilization of bioenergy highlight the urgency of developing sustainable alternative energy resources. This study aims to: (1) analyze the biophysical characteristics and vegetation potential of KHDTK Wanadipa Undip as a supplier of forest biomass feedstock, (2) identify the most promising bioenergy product alternatives using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and (3) assess the financial feasibility of the selected bioenergy development option from an economic perspective. Biophysical analysis was conducted through land suitability assessment and vegetation inventory. Bioenergy product prioritization was evaluated using AHP with six criteria: production cost, market price, feedstock availability, technology level, land requirement, and regulatory support. Financial feasibility was analyzed using NPV, IRR, BCR, and Payback Period across three investment scenarios: Gamal-based biopellets, Kaliandra-based biopellets, and Kaliandra-based biopellets integrated with stingless bee honey production. Results indicate that KHDTK Wanadipa Undip is suitable as a forest biomass energy supply area with substantial wood and non-wood biomass potential from 10 identified species. AHP results reveal that biopellets represent the most prospective bioenergy product for development. The analysis reveals that the biopellet production scenario based on gamal cultivation yields a positive NPV with an IRR of 17.8%. Financial feasibility improves under the more productive calliandra-based feedstock scenario, achieving an IRR of 20%.
