Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis desain sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) Rooftop pada rumah tinggal di Kota Makassar dengan kapasitas 3,3 kWp. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan energi listrik siang hari, identifikasi luas efektif atap, perancangan sistem PLTS Rooftop, simulasi menggunakan PVSyst V8.0.6, serta analisis keekonomian.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan energi listrik pada siang hari sebesar 8,172 kWh/hari, sedangkan kebutuhan energi desain dengan service factor 125% adalah sekitar 10,25 kWh/hari. Sistem dirancang menggunakan 6 modul PV tipe monocrystalline berkapasitas 550 Wp per modul dengan total kapasitas 3,3 kWp pada sudut kemiringan atap tetap 15°. Sistem menggunakan Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) dan timer dengan skema self-consumption non-export, sehingga energi listrik dari PLTS digunakan untuk kebutuhan internal rumah tinggal dan tidak dikirimkan ke jaringan PLN.
Hasil simulasi PVSyst menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 5.540,9 kWh/tahun atau rata-rata 15,18 kWh/hari. Analisis keekonomian menunjukkan investasi awal sebesar Rp15.665.000, Payback Period sekitar 5 tahun 6 bulan, NPV positif, IRR sebesar 18%, dan LCOE sebesar Rp409,598/kWh. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem PLTS Rooftop 3,3 kWp layak diterapkan sebagai alternatif penyediaan energi listrik mandiri pada rumah tinggal.

This study aims to analyze the design of a 3.3 kWp rooftop solar photovoltaic system for a residential house in Makassar City. The methods include daytime electricity demand analysis, effective roof area identification, rooftop PV system design, simulation using PVSyst V8.0.6, and economic feasibility analysis.
The results show that the daytime electricity demand is 8.172 kWh/day, while the design energy demand with a 125% service factor is approximately 10.25 kWh/day. The system is designed using six monocrystalline PV modules with a capacity of 550 Wp each, resulting in a total installed capacity of 3.3 kWp at a fixed roof tilt angle of 15°. The system uses an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and a timer with a self-consumption non-export scheme, so the generated electricity is used for internal household loads and is not exported to the PLN grid.
The PVSyst V8.0.6 simulation results show that the system can generate 5,540.9 kWh/year, equivalent to an average of 15.18 kWh/day. The economic analysis shows an initial investment of IDR 15,665,000, a payback period of approximately 5 years and 6 months, a positive Net Present Value (NPV), an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 18%, and a Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) of IDR 409.598/kWh. These results indicate that the 3.3 kWp rooftop PV system is feasible as an alternative independent electricity supply for residential households.
