Abstract

Latar belakang: Pemerintah Indonesia dalam pemberantasan perkembangbiakan nyamuk Culex quinquefasciatus say sebagai vektor penyakit filariasis menggunakan larvasida sands granul mengandung bahan kimia temefos yang dapat menimbulkan resistensi terhadap perkembangbiakan nyamuk dan berdampak buruk bagi makhluk hidup serta lingkungan.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi sediaan granul dari ekstrak terstandar buah Makasar (Brucea Javanica L Merr) sebagai biolarvasida pada Culex quinquefasciatus say.
Metode: Jenis penelitian eksperimen murni dengan desain post test only control group design. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 600 ekor larva Culex quinquefasciatus say terbagi dalam enam kelompok. Kelompok I adalah 15 ppm, Kelompok II adalah 22,5 ppm, kelompok III adalah 30 ppm, Kelompok IV adalah 37,5 ppm, kelompok kontrol positif adalah 4 gram Abate 1 GR dan kelompok negatif. Masing-masing berat granul buah makasar yaitu 4 gram dengan wadah tempayan yang berisi air 50 liter diamati selama 24 jam dan 48 jam.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa granul dengan konsentrasi 30 ppm sudah dapat membunuh 95% larva Culex quinquefasciatus say. Secara morfologi terlihat adanya kerusakan pada bagian thorax, shipon, saluran pencernaan dan pernafasan pada larva Culex quinquefasciatus say serta terdapat nekrosis, sel atrofi memendek pada jaringan saraf dan usus pada larva Culex quinquefasciatus say. Di waktu pengamatan 24 jam mendapatkan nilai LC50 25.6 ppm dan LC90 30.9 ppm, sedangkan waktu 48 jam nilai LC50 25.2 ppm dan LC90 29 ppm per 50 liter air dalam tempayan. uji mann whitney pada setiap konsentrasi granul rata-rata
p 0,001 (p=<0,05).
Kesimpulan: Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa granul buah Makasar dapat sebagai alternatif biolarvasida yang mengandung racun yang merusak dan membunuh bagian sistem pencernaan dan sistem saraf larva Culex quinquefasciatus say.

Background: The Indonesian Government in the eradication of mosquito breeding Culex quinquefasciatus say as a vector filariasis disease using larvacide sands granules containing temephos chemicals that can cause resistance to the breeding of mosquitoes and adversely affect the living creatures and the environment.
Objective: This research aims to assess the potential of granule preparations of the standard extract of the bruit of the Makasar (Brucea Javanica L Merr) as Biolarvasida on Culex quinquefasciatus say.
Method: Type of pure experimental research with post test only control group design. The sample of this study of 600 larvae Culex quinquefasciatus say is divided into six groups. Group I is 15 ppm, group II is 22.5 ppm, group III is 30 ppm, group IV is 37.5 ppm, positive control group is 4 grams Abate 1 GR and negative group. Each weight of a Makasar fruit granule that is 4 grams with a crock container containing water 50 liters observed for 24 hours and 48 hours. Results: The results showed that the granule with a concentration of 30 ppm was able to kill 95% of the larva Culex quinquefasciatus say. morphologically visible damage to the thorax, shipon, gastrointestinal and respiratory passages in the larva Culex quinquefasciatus say and there is necrosis, a retractable atrophy cell on the neural and intestinal tissues of the larva Culex quinquefasciatus say. At a 24-hour observation time get the value of LC50 25.6 ppm and LC90 30.9 ppm, while the time 48 hours LC50 25.2 ppm and LC90 29 ppm per 50 liter of water in tempayan. Mann Whitney Test on each concentration of the average granule p 0.001 (p = < 0.05).
Conclusion: It can be concluded that the Fruit granule Makasar can be an alternative biolarvasida containing toxic toxins and kills parts of the digestive system and the nervous system of the larva Culex quinquefasciatus say.
