Abstract
The shaking intensity in buildings due to seismic events is an important parameter
in earthquake disaster mitigation. Therefore, this parameter needs to be applied to
accompany the development of earthquake-resistant building design regulations that
allow designs to reach strength limits before collapse. On the other hand, numerical
methods that have been widely used in structural analysis require a relatively long time
to produce shaking intensity values. This study proposes the application of artificial
intelligence technology in predicting shaking intensity values on each floor of a building
for earthquake disaster mitigation
