Abstract
Dalam kondisi global yang semakin rentan terhadap ancaman keamanan siber, perlindungan data dalam sistem informasi menjadi kebutuhan yang mendesak, terutama di lingkungan institusi pemerintahan dan pendidikan. Kerentanan terhadap kebocoran dan manipulasi data menuntut adanya sistem yang mampu menjaga integritas dan kerahasiaan informasi secara kriptografis. Penelitian ini merumuskan masalah terkait perlunya peningkatan keamanan sistem informasi tugas belajar pegawai Universitas Diponegoro melalui penerapan kombinasi algoritma kriptografi dan struktur data hashchain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kompleksitas algoritma AES dan RSA menggunakan Big O Notation, mengukur efisiensi waktu, menguji kemampuan deteksi manipulasi data menggunakan merkle tree, dan mengembangkan model keamanan berbasis hashchain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi RSA dan AES memiliki waktu eksekusi enkripsi dan dekripsi yang lebih rendah serta performa yang lebih stabil dibandingkan algoritma pembanding, yaitu Twofish dan ElGamal. Model hashchain yang dikembangkan mampu menjaga integritas data secara kriptografis dan dapat direplikasi untuk sistem informasi lainnya. Penelitian ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan sistem informasi yang aman, efisien, dan andal di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

In a global environment increasingly vulnerable to cybersecurity threats, data protection within information systems has become an urgent necessity, particularly in government and educational institutions. The risk of data breaches and manipulation demands a system capable of ensuring both integrity and confidentiality through cryptographic mechanisms. This study addresses the need to enhance the security of the employee study assignment information system at Universitas Diponegoro by implementing a combination of cryptographic algorithms and hashchain-based data structures. The objectives include analyzing the computational complexity of AES and RSA algorithms using Big O notation, measuring execution efficiency, evaluating data manipulation detection through Merkle trees, and developing a security model based on hashchain architecture. The findings reveal that the AES–RSA combination demonstrates lower encryption and decryption execution times and more stable performance compared to alternative algorithms, namely Twofish and ElGamal. Furthermore, the proposed hashchain model effectively preserves data integrity cryptographically and can be replicated across other information systems. This research contributes to the development of secure, efficient, and reliable information systems within higher education environments.
