Abstract
Lahan bekas tambang memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi ruang hijau yang mendukung fungsi ekologis dan sosial. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas pengelolaan kawasan hijau pada lahan reklamasi bekas tambang tanah liat PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk Pabrik Cilacap melalui analisis kondisi tanah, vegetasi, dan persepsi masyarakat, serta merumuskan strategi pengelolaan berkelanjutan. Metode SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) digunakan untuk menilai efektivitas berdasarkan indikator kondisi tanah dan vegetasi, sementara analisis SWOT dimanfaatkan untuk merancang strategi. Hasil menunjukkan tanah memiliki pH netral, porositas baik, serta beberapa kandungan logam berat di bawah ambang batas. Vegetasi didominasi oleh Anthocephalus cadamba dan Pithecellobium dulce dengan Indeks Nilai Penting tinggi. Indeks Shannon-Wiener (H’ = 1,835) menunjukkan keanekaragaman sedang, dan nilai evenness (E = 0,883) mencerminkan distribusi spesies yang seimbang. Skor efektivitas SMART berkisar antara 32,86% (kategori rendah) hingga 78,97% (kategori baik), sementara hasil SWOT menunjukkan posisi strategi berada pada Kuadran I yang memungkinkan optimalisasi kekuatan dan peluang. Meskipun pengelolaan kawasan hijau menunjukkan arah yang positif, perlu ditingkatkan terutama dalam aspek diversitas vegetasi dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Perusahaan disarankan memperkuat pemantauan lingkungan, membangun kolaborasi dengan masyarakat, dan mengembangkan agrowisata berkelanjutan sebagai bentuk pemanfaatan lahan pascatambang secara produktif.

Post-mining land has significant potential to be transformed into green spaces that support ecological and social functions. This study evaluates the effectiveness of green area management on reclaimed clay mine land owned by PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk, Cilacap Plant, by analyzing soil conditions, vegetation structure, and community perceptions, as well as formulating sustainable management strategies. The SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method was used to assess effectiveness based on soil and vegetation indicators, while SWOT analysis was applied to develop appropriate management strategies. The results indicate that the soil has a neutral pH, good porosity, and heavy metal contents below the contamination threshold. Vegetation was dominated by Anthocephalus cadamba and Pithecellobium dulce, both showing high Importance Value Index. The Shannon-Wiener index (H’ = 1.835) reflects moderate biodiversity, and the evenness index (E = 0.883) suggests a balanced distribution among species. Effectiveness scores based on the SMART method ranged from 32.86% (low category) to 78.97% (good category), while SWOT analysis positioned the management strategy in Quadrant I, indicating strong potential to optimize internal strengths and external opportunities. Although the current management shows a positive direction, improvements are needed, particularly in enhancing vegetation diversity and community involvement. The company is advised to strengthen environmental monitoring, foster collaboration with local communities, and develop sustainable agrotourism as a productive utilization of post-mining land.
