This research analyzes the anime Hige Wo Soru, Soshite Joshikousei Wo
Hirou (Higehiro) by Shimesaba. The primary objective of this study is to analyze
the narrative elements and the inner conflict of the character Yoshida in the
anime Hige Wo Soru, Soshite Joshikousei Wo Hirou by Shimesaba. This research
is qualitative, utilizing the sociology of literature method. It analyzes the narrative
elements using Himawan Pratista's narrative structure theory and Yoshida's inner
conflict using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, presented through
qualitative descriptive analysis. In the analysis of Yoshida's inner conflict within
the anime Hige Wo Soru, Soshite Joshikousei Wo Hirou, four inner conflicts
experienced by Yoshida were identified inner conflict when tempted by Sayu, inner
conflict when arguing with Yaguchi, inner conflict when Sayu was about to return
home, inner conflict after hearing Sayu's mother's statement. Of these four inner
conflicts experienced by Yoshida, two were won by the superego, influenced by
Yoshida's inherent personality traits, while the other two inner conflicts were won
by Yoshida's id.
