Abstract
This study aims to reveal the true meaning of the song Seiza ni Naretara, the
soundtrack of the anime Bocchi The Rock! This anime tells the story of a quiet high
school student, Hitori Gotou, who wants to join a band. This study uses a qualitative
paradigm with a semiotic approach. The data source is the song Seiza ni Naretara
lyrics by Ai Higuchi, which appears in episode 12 of the anime Bocchi The Rock!. This
library research employs the technique of listening and note-taking in the data
collection process and uses Riffaterre's poetic semiotics theory for analysis. Through
heuristic reading, hermeneutic interpretation, and intertextual study, the findings
