Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio, Total Assets
Turnover, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Gross Profit Margin on a company's Return on
Assets. The objects of this study are telecommunications companies listed on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019-2023, with a total population of 21
companies and a sample of 12 companies that meet the criteria, selected through
purposive sampling. The analytical techniques employed include descriptive
statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using
SPSS version 27. This study found that, partially, the Current Ratio does not
significantly affect Return on Assets, the Debt to Equity Ratio negatively and
significantly affects Return on Assets, and Total Assets Turnover and Gross Profit
Margin positively and significantly affect Return on Assets of the company.
