Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model seleksi calon penerima beasiswa dengan mengkombinasikan Best Worst Method, SMART dan PROMETHEE. Pemilihan topik ini didasari oleh pentingnya proses seleksi yang objektif dan transparan dalam menentukan penerima beasiswa guna meningkatkan akses pendidikan tinggi bagi siswa yang kurang mampu. Best Worst Method digunakan untuk menentukan bobot kriteria dengan cara membandingkan kriteria terbaik dan terburuk. SMART digunakan untuk mengevaluasi nilai utilitas alternatif berdasarkan bobot kriteria yang diperoleh dari Best Worst Method. PROMETHEE digunakan untuk meranking alternatif berdasarkan nilai preferensi yang dihitung dari hasil metode SMART. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi metode tersebut menghasilkan akurasi 96,29%, presisi 96,67%, recall 96,67%, dan f1-score 96,67%. Dalam analisis sensitivitas, kombinasi metode ini memperoleh nilai rata-rata 0,863 dari 20 percobaan perubahan bobot yang menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi Best Worst Method, SMART dan PROMETHEE lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan metode lainnya seperti BWM-SMART, BWM-PROMETHEE, BWM-TOPSIS dan BWM-SAW. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kombinasi metode ini lebih robust terhadap perubahan bobot sehingga lebih efektif dalam mempertahankan konsistensi dan objektivitas selama proses seleksi. Penerapan kombinasi Best Worst Method, SMART dan PROMETHEE dapat meningkatkan kualitas seleksi penerima beasiswa dengan memastikan bahwa proses seleksi berlangsung adil, objektif dan konsisten dalam berbagai situasi pengambilan keputusan.

This study aims to develop a model for selecting scholarship recipients using a combination of the Best Worst Method, SMART and PROMETHEE. The topic was chosen due to the importance of an objective and transparent selection process to improve access to higher education for underprivileged students. The Best Worst Method is used to determine criteria weights by comparing the best and worst criteria. SMART evaluates the utility value of alternatives based on the weights obtained from the Best Worst Method. PROMETHEE ranks the alternatives based on preference values calculated from SMART results. The results showed that this combination achieved an accuracy of 96,29%, precision of 96,67%, recall of 96,67%, and f1-score of 96,67%. In the sensitivity analysis, based on 20 weight change experiments, resulted in an average value of 0,863, indicating the superiority of this method compared to others such as BWM-SMART, BWM-PROMETHEE, BWM-TOPSIS and BWM-SAW. These findings suggest that this combination is more robust to weight changes, making it more effective in maintaining consistency and objectivity during the selection process. Applying Best Worst Method, SMART and PROMETHEE enhances the quality of scholarship selection, ensuring fairness, objectivity and consistency in various decision-making situations.
