Abstract
The Resort Hotel with Beach Club Facilities in the POJ City area is designed to meet the demand for accommodation and entertainment in a coastal region. This project adopts the Resort
Hotel typology, strategically located in POJ City, Semarang, an area with significant tourism potential characterized by its accessibility, natural beauty, and coastal culture. A tropical
architectural approach is employed to create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also responsive to the local climate and environment, supporting the concept of integrated living
or one-stop living. The scope of this LP3A includes analysis stages aimed at identifying the area's potential, challenges, and user needs. This process encompasses studies on site aspects, sustainability, design innovation, and the development of spatial concepts that balance functionality, comfort, and harmony with the environment. The methodology involves contextual analysis based on both quantitative and qualitative data, including case studies of similar projects, field observations, and interviews. The primary focus is addressing issues such as spatial optimization, energy efficiency, and creating meaningful experiences for visitors. This approach facilitates the development of a planning program that is not only relevant to user needs but also positively impacts the surrounding environment. The final outcome is a comprehensive planning and design program, covering spatial
zoning, types of facilities, and functional connectivity designed to meet user needs. The design concept emphasizes comfort and aesthetics while creating spaces that leave a memorable impression on every visitor. Keywords: Tropical Architecture; Beach Club; POJ City; Planning and Design; Resort Hotel.
