Abstract

Permasalahan air bersih dan pencemarannya menjadi isu global akibat perubahan iklim, urbanisasi, industrialisasi, dan pertumbuhan populasi yang pesat. Di Indonesia, 59% sungai mengalami pencemaran berat akibat limbah industri, rumah tangga, dan peternakan. Oleh karena itu, mitigasi dan pengelolaan lingkungan air permukaan sangat penting untuk menjaga ekosistem dan kualitas hidup manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengendalikan dan memantau kualitas air sungai secara efektif guna mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pemodelan spasial berbasis WebGIS untuk analisis data kompleks, serta pemodelan prediktif menggunakan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan Backpropagation (JST-BP) untuk mendeteksi tingkat pencemaran air. Sistem pemantauan real-time berbasis SMS Gateway dan IoT diterapkan untuk mengukur parameter Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), pH, suhu, dan kekeruhan. Hasil dari penelitian berupa pemodelan WebSIG dapat diakses di https://statusmutusungaidiy.unsorry.net/ Pemodelan JST Backpropagation dapat diakses melalui alamat website https://muhammadandangnovianta.shinyapps.io/ DataKualitasAirSungaiDIY/. Penerapan sistem Jaringan Sensor Nirkabel Berbasis SMS Gateway yang dapat memantau kualitas permukaan air sungai secara waktu nyata serta implementasi teknologi IoT dalam memberikan informasi berbasis website yang dapat diakses secara online dan realtime melalui alamat website https://simonkupas.info/. Sistem ini membantu dalam analisis kualitas air, prediksi pencemaran, dan memberikan rekomendasi pengendalian lingkungan sungai. Penelitian ini telah berhasil membangun sistem terpadu yang berkelanjutan untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan, meningkatkan kesadaran publik, transparansi, serta efisiensi dalam pengelolaan kualitas air permukaan secara daring dan informatif.

The issue of clean water and its pollution has become a global concern due to climate change, urbanization, industrialization, and rapid population growth. In Indonesia, 59% of rivers suffer from severe pollution caused by industrial, household, and livestock waste. Therefore, mitigation and surface water management are crucial to preserving ecosystems and human quality of life. This study aims to effectively control and monitor river water quality to support sustainable development. The methods used include spatial modeling based on WebGIS for complex data analysis and predictive modeling using Backpropagation Neural Networks (BPNN) to detect pollution levels. A real-time monitoring system based on SMS Gateway and IoT is implemented to measure parameters such as Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), pH, temperature, and turbidity.The study results include a WebGIS model accessible at https://statusmutusungaidiy.unsorry.net/ and a Backpropagation Neural Network model available at https://muhammadandangnovianta.shinyapps.io/ DataKualitasAirSungaiDIY/. Additionally, the implementation of a Wireless Sensor Network system based on SMS Gateway enables real-time monitoring of surface water quality. The integration of IoT technology provides web-based information that can be accessed online and in real-time at https://simonkupas.info/. This system facilitates water quality analysis, pollution prediction, and environmental control recommendations for river ecosystems. This research has successfully developed a sustainable and integrated system to support decision-making, enhance public awareness, improve transparency, and increase efficiency in managing surface water quality through an online and informative approach.
