Abstract

ABSTRACT
Religious Holiday Allowance or commonly referred to as THR is an
amount of money outside of salary that must be paid by the company to its
employees before the religious holiday arrives. THR itself is a worker's right
that is very useful when welcoming Eid al-Fitr, especially for those who are
Muslim. This study aims to determine the implementation of policies related
to the provision of Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) for Company
Workers/Laborers in Semarang City and the factors that become obstacles in
its implementation. This research method uses a Comprehensive Qualitative
approach, thisstudy involved interviews with various stakeholders, including
workers, employers, and staff/implementers of the Semarang City Manpower
Office (Disnaker). The results of the study showed that the implementation of
the THR policy was not optimal, this was indicated by the fact that there were
still reports received through the THR Complaint Post and several obstacles
were still found such as less than optimal communication (socialization to
companies) and minimal resources (staff/policy implementers). The main
objective of this study was to gain a deep understanding of how the THR
policy is implemented and its impact on society. The results of this study are
expected to provide insight for government officials and other stakeholders
(companies), with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of THR policies. By
understanding the challenges of implementation and itsimpact on society, this
study seeks to contribute to the expansion of information related to the policy
of providing Religious THR in accordance with Permenaker No. 6 of 2016.
