Abstract

Mengevaluasi Sistem Manajemen Energi (EnMS) berdasarkan standar ISO 50001 melalui analisis hasil audit energi. Fokus penelitian mencakup: analisis kebutuhan energi listrik pada beban tertinggi dan terendah, rekayasa pengaturan operasional pembangkit listrik, evaluasi hasil audit energi untuk optimalisasi kebutuhan energi, identifikasi strategi perbaikan di sektor energi dan lingkungan, serta evaluasi emisi gas rumah kaca (GHG) dan upaya pengendalian pencemaran udara. Penelitian ini berfokus pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) berbahan bakar batu bara dan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD).
Program konservasi energi pada industri pembangkit listrik, khususnya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) berbahan bakar batu bara dan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD). Fokus utama adalah pada penerapan langkah-langkah efisiensi energi untuk meningkatkan kinerja operasional, mengurangi konsumsi bahan bakar, dan menekan emisi gas rumah kaca (GHG). Kajian dilakukan melalui evaluasi kinerja energi, identifikasi peluang efisiensi, serta implementasi teknologi dan inovasi untuk mendukung keberlanjutan operasional.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya konservasi energi melibatkan penggunaan sistem pemantauan emisi secara terus-menerus (Continuous Emission Monitoring System/CEMS) untuk memantau dan mengendalikan emisi, serta pemasangan teknologi Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) guna mengurangi emisi gas buang. Selain itu, program ini mencakup analisis penggunaan energi yang signifikan, penetapan indikator kinerja energi (EnPIs), dan pengembangan kebijakan serta rencana tindakan untuk mencapai target pengurangan konsumsi energi dan emisi.
Hasil penelitian juga merekomendasikan adopsi teknologi inovatif seperti Distributed Voltage Arbitration (DVAr) dan Star Configuration Communications (Starcom) untuk optimalisasi distribusi beban listrik, peningkatan stabilitas sistem, serta pengurangan risiko kegagalan operasional. Implementasi langkah-langkah ini berhasil mengidentifikasi potensi penghematan energi, serta mendukung pencapaian target konservasi energi dan pengendalian pencemaran lingkungan secara berkelanjutan.
Kajian ini menawarkan pendekatan strategis berbasis teori, termasuk analisis kebijakan, pengembangan teknologi hemat energi, dan wawasan untuk mendukung kebijakan energi ramah lingkungan jangka panjang. Teknologi seperti Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) dan Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) telah diimplementasikan untuk pemantauan emisi dan peningkatan efisiensi pembakaran.
Penggunaan teknologi Distributed Voltage Arbitration (DVAr) dan Star Configuration Communications (Starcom) untuk pengaturan beban listrik yang lebih efisien dan stabil, mengurangi risiko kegagalan sistem akibat beban tidak terkendali. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya manajemen energi yang terintegrasi, pengembangan teknologi baru, dan strategi konservasi energi berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan.

This study evaluates the Energy Management System (EnMS) based on ISO 50001 standards by analyzing energy audit results. The research focuses on electricity demand analysis during peak and low loads, operational adjustments of power plants, evaluation of energy audit results for energy optimization, identification of improvement strategies in energy and environmental sectors, and assessment of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and air pollution control efforts. The study centers on Coal-Fired Power Plants (CFPP) and Diesel Power Plants (DPP).
The energy conservation program in the power generation industry, specifically CFPPs and DPPs, emphasizes the implementation of energy efficiency measures to enhance operational performance, reduce fuel consumption, and suppress GHG emissions. This program involves energy performance evaluation, identification of efficiency opportunities, and the application of technologies and innovations to support sustainable operations.
The findings reveal that energy conservation efforts include the use of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) for continuous emission monitoring and control, as well as the installation of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to reduce exhaust gas emissions. The program also encompasses an analysis of significant energy uses, the establishment of energy performance indicators (EnPIs), and the development of policies and action plans to achieve energy and emission reduction targets.
Additionally, the study recommends the adoption of innovative technologies such as Distributed Voltage Arbitration (DVAr) and Star Configuration Communications (Starcom) to optimize electricity load distribution, improve system stability, and reduce the risk of operational failures. The implementation of these measures successfully identifies energy-saving potentials and supports the achievement of sustainable energy conservation and environmental pollution control targets.
This study offers a strategic, theory-based approach, including policy analysis, the development of energy-saving technologies, and insights to support long-term environmentally friendly energy policies. Technologies such as CEMS and SCR have been implemented for emission monitoring and combustion efficiency improvement.
The use of DVAr and Starcom technologies ensures more efficient and stable electricity load management, minimizing the risk of system failures due to uncontrolled loads. Overall, this study highlights the importance of integrated energy management, the development of new technologies, and sustainable energy conservation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impacts.
