Abstract
Pendahuluan: COVID-19 memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap fungsi paru, terutama pada penyintas yang mengalami gangguan kapasitas paru-paru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kapasitas paru-paru mahasiswa penyintas COVID-19 dan bukan penyintas di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Diponegoro. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif
analitik observasional dengan pendekatan case control study. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik sampling, terdiri dari 35 penyintas COVID-19 dan 35 bukan penyintas. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan autospirometri dan peak flow meter, dengan pengukuran VC, FVC,FEV1, FEVR, dan PEFR. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test dan Mann-Whitney. Hasil: Rata-
rata usia subjek adalah 20,51 ± 0,91 tahun. Kelompok penyintas menunjukkan nilai VC rata-rata 84,26 ± 8,42, sedangkan bukan penyintas memiliki nilai VC 91,05 ± 8,24 dengan p < 0,001.Pada FVC, penyintas memiliki rata-rata 69,82 8,30 dibandingkan dengan bukan penyintas 84,17 ± 12,54, dengan p < 0,001. Rata-rata FEVR kelompok penyintas adalah 88,10 3,23) dan bukan
penyintas 86,73 ± 2,48, p = 0,167. Pada PEFR, penyintas memiliki rata-rata 428,14 ± 82,08 dibandingkan dengan bukan penyintas 510,00 131,23, dengan p = 0,010. Kesimpulan: COVID-19 berdampak signifikan terhadap penurunan kapasitas paru penyintas, terutama pada VC, FVC,
dan PEFR. Temuan ini menekankan perlunya pemantauan fungsi paru jangka panjang pada penyintas.

ABSTRACT
Introduction: COVID-19 has a significant impact on lung function, especially in survivors who experience impaired lung capacity. This study aims to compare the lung capacity of COVID-19 and non-survivors among medical students at Diponegoro University. Methods: This research used a quantitative observational analytical design with a case control study approach.
Samples were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of 35 COVID-19 survivors and 35 non-survivors. Data were collected using autospirometry and peak flow meter, measuring VC, FVC, FEV1, FEVR, and PEFR. Data were analyzed using t-tests and Mann-Whitney tests.
Results: The average age of the subjects was 20.51 ± 0.91 years. The survivor group had an average VC of 84.26 ± 8.42, while non-survivors had a VC of 91.05 ± 8.24 (p < 0.001). For FVC, survivors had an average of 69.82 ± 8.30 compared to non-survivors at 84.17 ± 12.54 (p < 0.001).The average FEVR for survivors was 88.10 ± 3.23, and for non-survivors, it was 86.73 ± 2.48 (p
= 0.167). For PEFR, survivors had an average of 428.14 ± 82.08 compared to non-survivors at 510.00 ± 131.23 (p = 0.010). Conclusion: COVID-19 has a significant impact on reducing lung capacity in survivors, especially in VC, FVC, and PEFR. These findings highlight the need for long-term monitoring of lung function in COVID-19 survivors.
