Abstract

This research aims to develop digital flashcards as English learning media and promote
Indonesian culture through folklore. This study's respondents were English students in
Foreign Language. The data collection method was based on observation in the form of
questions through questionnaires and feedback assessments from students. In addition,
lecturers as experts identified the final results through the eight steps of the R&D method.
Media validation experts expressed high satisfaction with the design and functionality of
the app, with an average score of 3.5, and content validation, with a score of 3.3. These
criteria underscore the effectiveness and accuracy of the flashcards in achieving the
learning objectives. In addition, the results of trials conducted by English students in
Applied Foreign Language showed that digital flashcards of Indonesian folklore received
an average of 3.5, so the digital flashcards are products of fun English learning aids and
cultural preservation through Indonesian folklore. The product's viability on Indonesian
folklore flashcards was demonstrated by the availability of applications for Android users
through Google Play Store downloads, which are intended to benefit a broader audience.
