Abstract

Football holds a special place in the hearts of Indonesians, and stadiums play a crucial role in its development. They serve not only as venues for training and matches but also as symbols of a nation's footballing progress. Currently, Indonesia boasts 25 large-capacity stadiums, but only 14 meet FIFA standards, highlighting the need for significant improvements in stadium facilities. The
Kanjuruhan tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the importance of optimal stadium management. High-quality stadiums can attract investor and government interest in developing sports infrastructure, boosting public interest, and advancing
Indonesian football. Boyolali Regency has demonstrated its commitment to football development by constructing quality fields and stadiums. In light of these efforts, a well-designed stadium is essential for Boyolali Regency to possess a high-quality
facility with complete amenities that can cater to local and international football activities. This stadium can potentially become a turning point for Boyolali and Indonesian football, propelling them towards further progress and international
recognition. The stadium design utilizes a combination of three research methods: literature study, comparative study, and field study, which serve as references and standards for the design process. The literature study focuses on stadium design guidelines and standards established by AFC and FIFA, establishing a solid
foundation for the project. Data collected from the field study forms the basis for analyzing the necessary facilities for a stadium. This analysis determines the spatial dimensions used in the design. The design approach adopts contemporary
architecture as its guiding concept.
