Abstract

Subsidized housing is one of the government's initiatives to facilitate low-income communities
in obtaining affordable housing. The increase in population has led to a rising demand for subsidized
housing. However, the distribution of this housing is still not effectively targeted. In Kendal Regency, there
are 20,074 units of subsidized housing aimed at meeting the housing needs of low-income communities.
Nevertheless, consumer expectations for the development of subsidized housing have not been fully met,
indicating that Low income communities needs to improve and manage the services provided by
subsidized housing developers. Therefore, the research question is ‘What are the consumer preferences
and assessments: A case study of the development of subsidized housing in Kendal Regency?’
