Abstract

ABSTRAK
(Salmaa Bayrus. 26050119130068. Hubungan Konsentrasi Fosfat dengan
Klorofil-a di Perairan Kabupaten Batang, Jawa Tengah. Kunarso, dan Muslim).
Kabupaten Batang yang terletak di bagian Utara pesisir Provinsi Jawa Tengah
merupakan kawasan yang memiliki tingkat aktivitas masyarakat yang tinggi
sehingga dapat berdampak pada kualitas perairan dan keseimbangan ekosistem.
Perubahan kualitas perairan ini dapat diidentifikasi melalui konsentrasi nutrien
seperti fosfat terlarut dan konsentrasi klorofil-a. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui persebaran konsentrasi fosfat inorganik terlarut dan klorofil-a di
perairan serta mengetahui hubungan antara fosfat inorganik terlarut dengan
klorofil-a di perairan Kabupaten Batang, Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif yang mengacu pada angka untuk analisis dan
metode analisis kolorimetri dengan spektrofotometer untuk menganalisis
konsentrasi fosfat dan klorofil-a. Konsentrasi fosfat terlarut berkisar antara 0,0884 – 0,5646 µM dengan rata-rata 0,2547 µM, dan perserbaran konsentrasi tinggi
berada di dekat sungai yang merupakan sumber masukan fosfat terlarut dari darat
dan cenderung semakin kecil ketika menjauhi sungai atau mejorok ke laut, begitu
juga dengan klorofil-a yang konsentrasinya berkisar antara 0,2271 – 3,9079 mg/m3
dengan rata-rata 1,1820 mg/m3 memiliki persebaran konsentrasi yang paling tinggi
berada di dekat sungai dan semakin kecil ketika menjauhi sungai dan menuju laut.
Selain itu didapatkan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara konsentrasi fosfat
inorganik terlarut dan konsentrasi klorofil-a dengan nilai r = 0,8861 dan p = 0,002.
Hubungan yang kuat ini dikarenakan pada proses fotosintesis diperlukan pasokan
nutrient seperti fosfat.

Levels and Chlorophyll-a in The Waters of Batang Regency, Central Java.
Kunarso, and Muslim).
The district of Batang, located on the northern coast of Central Java
Province, is an area with a high level of community activity, which can impact water
quality and ecosystem balance. Changes in water quality can be identified through
nutrient content such as dissolved phosphate and chlorophyll-a concentration. This
research aims to determine the distribution of dissolved inorganic phosphate
concentration and chlorophyll-a in the waters and to understand the relationship
between dissolved inorganic phosphate and chlorophyll-a in the waters of Batang
Regency, Central Java. The research method used is a quantitative method that
employs numerical analysis, and the analytical method involves colorimetry with a
spectrophotometer to analyze phosphate and chlorophyll-a content. The
concentration of dissolved phosphate ranges from 0.0884 to 0.5646 µM with an
average of 0.2547 µM. Higher concentration distribution is found near rivers,
which serve as sources of dissolved phosphate input from the land. The
concentration tends to decrease when moving away from rivers or towards the sea.
Similarly, chlorophyll-a concentrations range from 0.2271 to 3.9079 mg/m3 with
an average of 1.1820 mg/m3. The highest concentration distribution is near rivers
and decreases as one moves away from rivers toward the sea. Furthermore, a
strong relationship is observed between the content of dissolved inorganic
phosphate and chlorophyll-a concentration with a correlation coefficient (r) of
0.8861 and a p-value of 0.002. This strong relationship is because the process of
photosynthesis requires a nutrient supply like phosphate.
