Abstract

Echosounder Untuk Inspeksi Pipa Bawah Laut di Perairan Lepas Pantai Lampung
Timur. Elis Indrayanti & Ainun Pujo Wiryawan).
Pipa bawah laut merupakan salah satu sistem distribusi minyak dan gas
bumi yang dinilai efektif pada area lepas pantai. Pipa bawah laut berupa tabung
berongga yang menyalurkan hasil minyak dan gas bumi. Akan tetapi penggunaan
pipa bawah laut memerlukan kegiatan inspeksi secara berkala untuk mencegah
kerusakan pipa. Kegiatan inspeksi pipa dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan
instrumen multibeam echosounder. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis data
multibeam echosounder pada wilayah blok migas yang berada di Perairan Lepas
Pantai Lampung Timur dengan tujuan untuk memetakan kedalaman laut, serta
mengetahui posisi dan kedalaman pipa bawah laut. Pengolahan data multibeam
echosounder dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak CARIS Hips & Sips dengan
data pendukung berupa nilai pasang surut, dan nilai kecepatan suara. Berdasarkan
hasil pengolahan data diperoleh peta batimetri dengan kedalaman dasar laut
berkisar 17 m hingga 29,3 m. Selain itu terdeteksi 7 jalur pipa bawah laut dengan
ukuran diameter pipa sebesar 20 inci. Posisi pipa bawah laut digelar diatas seabed
pada kedalaman 17,3 m hingga 27 m. Posisi pipa bawah laut tersebut sudah sesuai
dengan ketentuan Keputusan Menteri Pertambangan dan Energi Nomor
300.K/38/M.PE/1997 tentang keselamatan kerja pipa penyalur minyak dan gas
bumi.

Underwater pipelines are one of the offshore area's most effective oil and
gas distribution systems. Underwater pipelines are hollow tubes that transport oil
and gas products. However, using underwater pipelines requires regular inspection
activities to prevent pipe damage. Pipe inspection activities can be carried out using
a multibeam echosounder. In this research, multibeam echosounder data analysis
was carried out in the oil and gas block area in the waters off the coast of East
Lampung with the aim of mapping the depth of the sea, as well as knowing the
position and depth of the underwater pipes. Processing of raw data from a
multibeam echosounder was processed using CARIS Hips & Sips software with
supporting data of tidal values and sound velocity values. Based on the resulting
bathymetric map, seabed depth values ranging from 17 m to 29.3 m were obtained.
In addition, 7 underwater pipelines were detected with a diameter of 20 inches. The
position of the underwater pipeline is held above the seabed at a depth of 17,3 m to
27 m. The position of the underwater pipeline is in accordance with the provisions
of the Decree of the Minister of Mines and Energy Number 300.K/38/M.PE/1997
concerning the safety of oil and gas pipelines.
