Abstract

ABSTRAK
(Annisa Aulia, 26040118120005. Dinamika Populasi Kerang Hijau (Perna
viridis) di Kawasan Muara Sungai Kaliden, Sayung, Demak. Retno Hartati dan
Ervia Yudiati).
Kerang Hijau (Perna viridis) merupakan salah satu jenis kerang yang sering
dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat yang banyak ditemukan di perairan Muara Sungai
Kaliden, Sayung, Demak, sehingga menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan
masyarakat di daerah tersebut. Kerang hijau banyak dibudidayakan dipesisir pantai
utara dan memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengetahui tingkat kelimpahan kerang hijau, menganalisis perubahan dinamika
populasi kerang hijau dan potensi pengembangan kerang hijau berdasarkan
dinamika populasi. Sebanyak 840 individu yang diambil dari lokasi pada bulan
Januari 2023. Hasil yang telah didapatkan dari hubungan panjang dan berat kerang
hijau bersifat allometrik negatif dengan b<3 yang menandakan bahwa kerang
dalam keadaan kurus. Panjang kerang yang paling minimum berukuran 1,0-3,0 dan
9,0 cm sedangkan panjang kerang hijau yang paling dominan berukuran 5,0-6,0 cm.
Pengambilan sampel dilakukan selama 4 minggu dan dari 3 stasiun. Hasil yang
didapat tingkat kelimpahan Kerang Hijau (P. viridis) pada bulan Januari (Z) sebesar
5,38 (M) sebesar 3,16 dan (F) sebesar 1,66. Perubahan dinamika populasi kerang
hijau (K) 9,02 cm, (L∞) 1,35/th dan to adalah 0. Sehingga E<3 maka dikatakan
(under fishing). Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerang jantan dan betina
1 : 2,96. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa disetiap minggunya kerang hijau
didominasi oleh ukuran yang dominan sedang berkisar antara 4,6-6,9 cm.
Hubungan panjang berat berturut-turut menunjukkan pertumbuhan bersifat
alometrik negatif.

ABSTRACT

Green mussel (Perna viridis) is a type of shellfish that is often consumed by
the community which is found in the waters of the Kaliden River estuary, Sayung,
Demak, so that it becomes a source of income for the people in the area. Green
mussels are widely cultivated on the north coast and have high economic value. The
purpose of this study was to determine the abundance level of mussels, to analyze
changes in mussel population dynamics and the potential for mussel development
based on population dynamics. A total of 840 individuals were taken from the
location in January 2023. The results obtained from the relationship between length
and weight of green mussels are negative allometric with b<3 indicating that the
mussels are thin. The minimum length of the clam is 1.0-3.0 and 9.0 cm, while the
length of the green mussel is the most dominant, measuring 5.0-6.0 cm. Sampling
was carried out for 4 weeks and from 3 stations. The results obtained for the
abundance of Green Mussels (P. viridis) in January were (Z) 5.38 (M) 3.16 and (F)
1.66. Changes in the dynamics of the green mussel population (K) 9.02 cm, (L∞)
1.35/year and to is 0. So E <3, it is said (under fishing). The results of the study
showed that the male and female mussels were 1 : 2.96. Based on the results of the
study that every week green mussels are dominated by medium dominant sizes
ranging from 4.6-6.9 cm. The relationship between length and weight shows that
growth is negative allometric.
