Abstract

Pengembangan Wisata di Danau Toba (Studi Kasus: Pantai Pasir Putih Parbaba
Kabupaten Samosir). Frida Purwanti dan Kukuh Prakoso).
Kabupaten Samosir merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata yang cukup
terkenal dengan Danau Tobanya yang memuliki keindahan alam, budaya, serta
perairan Danau Toba. Pantai Pasir Putih Parbaba merupakan salah satu pantai yang
memanfaatkan keindahan Danau Toba sebagai tempat wisatanya. Penelitian
dilakukan pada Bulan April 2023 di Pantai Pasir Putih Parbaba Kabupaten Samosir.
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui potensi wisata (daya tarik, akses, dan
fasilitas), dampak pengembangan wisata pantai, dan daya dukung kawasan. Metode
yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data dengan
observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap 75
wisatawan, 20 masyarakat lokal dan 6 pengelola dengan menggunakan kuisioner.
Pemilihan responden wisatawan menggunakan metode accidental sampling,
sedangkan untuk masyarakat dan pengelola menggunakan teknik Purposive
Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi dari daya tarik wisata sangat
menarik, fasilitas wisata termasuk kategori baik, akses wisata termasuk kategori
mendukung menurut. Dampak yang dimiliki adalah dampak sosial yang temasuk
dampak besar, dampak ekonomi yang termasuk dampak besar, dampak lingkungan
termasuk dalam dampak kecil. Daya dukung kawasan (DDK) dalam kegiatan
rekreasi pantai sebesar 1.742 pengunjung.

Impact of Tourism Development on Lake Toba (Case Study: Parbaba White Sand
Beach, Samosir Regency) (Frida Purwanti dan Kukuh Prakoso).
Samosir Regency is one of the touristm areas which is quite famous for its
Lake Toba which has the natural beauty, culture, and waters of Lake Toba. Parbaba
White Sand Beach is one of the beaches that takes advantage of the beauty of Lake
Toba as a tourist spot. The research was conducted in April 2023 at Pasir Putih
Parbaba Beach, Samosir Regency. The research aims to determine the tourism
potential (attraction, access, and facilities), the impact of coastal tourism, and the
carrying capacity of the area. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data
collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were
conducted with 75 tourists, 20 local people, and 6 managers using a questionnaire.
The selection of tourist respondents used the accidental sampling method, while the
community and managers used purposive sampling techniques. The results of the
study show that the potential for tourist attraction is very attractive, tourist facilities
are in a good category, and tourist access is in the supportive category. The impact
that has is a social impact which includes a large impact, economic impact which
includes a large impact, and environmental impact which includes a small impact.
The carrying capacity of the area (DDK) for beach recreation activities is 1.724
visitors.
