Abstract

ABSTRAK
(Camila Yunartoinawati. 26010119120004. Analisis Struktur Ukuran,
Ukuran Layak Tangkap, dan Upaya Pengelolaan Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus
Linnaeus, 1758) di Perairan Teluk Awur, Jepara. Suradi Wijaya Saputra dan Siti
Rudiyanti).
Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) di perairan Teluk Awur, Jepara merupakan
salah satu komoditas yang memiliki nilai ekonomis penting. Permintaan pasar yang
tinggi meningkatkan upaya penangkapan, yang akan mengganggu keberlanjutan
rajungan. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui ukuran layak tangkap dan upaya
pengelolaan rajungan berdasarkan struktur ukuran, Lc50%, dan selektivitas alat
tangkap. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei, Juni, Juli dan Agustus 2022 di
Perairan Teluk Awur, Jepara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
metode survei. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sistematik random
sampling. Data primer yang dikumpulkan yaitu lebar karapas (mmCW). Analisis
data menggunakan software Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dari total
sampel 219 ekor ukuran lebar rajungan berkisar 75-148 mmCW. Lc50% bernilai
106,138 mmCW dengan selektivitas alat tangkap sebesar 4,246. Upaya pengelolaan
rajungan berkelanjutan di Teluk Awur dapat dilakukan dengan penetapan ukuran
terkecil yang boleh ditangkap (<100 mmCW) dan pengendalian ukuran mata jaring
bubu yang digunakan.

Worth Catching, and Efforts to Manage Blue Crab (Portunus pelagicus Linnaeus,
1758) in Teluk Awur Waters, Jepara. Suradi Wijaya Saputra and Siti Rudiyanti).
Blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) in Teluk Awur Waters, Jepara is
a commodity that has important economic value. High market demand increases
fishing effort, which will disrupt the crab's sustainability. The purpose of this study
was to determine the size of the feasible catch and management efforts for blue
swimming crab based on the size structure, Lc50%, and gear selectivity. This
research was conducted in May, June, July and August 2022 in Teluk Awur Waters,
Jepara. The method used in this research is survey method. Sampling using
systematic random sampling method. The primary data collected was carapace
width (mmCW). Data analysis using Microsoft Excel software. The results were
obtained from a total sample of 219 crabs whose width ranged from 75-148 mmCW.
Lc50% is 106,138 mmCW with a gear selectivity of 4,246. Efforts to manage
sustainable blue swimming crab in Teluk Awur can be done by determining the
smallest size that can be caught (<100 mmCW) and controlling the mesh size of the
trap nets used.
