Abstract

(Alwaly Turfau Millah, 26020116140171. Struktur Komunitas Vegetasi Mangrove di Pantai Kenjeran Surabaya Provinsi Jawa Timur. Rini Pramesti dan Chrisna Adhi Suryono).
Kondisi mangrove di pantai Kenjeran Surabaya telah mengalam perubahan luas, struktur dan komposisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi ekosistem mangrove melalui analisa vegetasi mangrove. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah metode survei, sedangkan penentuan stasion penelitian
dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling Method. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah pesisir Surabaya Timur di Pantai Kenjeran, pada bulan Desember 2022 sampai dengan bulan Februari 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa vegetasi mangrove didominasi oleh spesies Avicennia marina dengan kerapatan mangrove kategori pohon Mangrove Avicennia marina katagori pohon memiliki kerapatan berkisar antara 1333,3 ind/ha – 2866,7 ind/ha. Katagori mangrove sapling berkisar antara 533.3 ind/ha.-1166.7 ind/ha. Sedangkan mangrove katagori seedling kerapatannya berkisar antara 366,7 -ind/ha.-1300 ind/ha. Rata-rata total persen cover tutupan kanopi adalah 83,37. Kerapatan tingkat pohon keseluruhan tergolong jarang, sedangkan tingkat anakan dan semai tergolong rapat. Persen penutupan mangrove tergolong tinggi sehingga termasuk dalam kategori baik. Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) Mangrove yang didapatkan tergolong sedang.

The condition of the mangroves on the Kenjeran beach in Surabaya has undergone changes in area, structure and composition. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of the mangrove ecosystem through analysis of mangrove vegetation. The research method used was a survey method, while the determination of the research stations was carried out using the propulsive sampling method. This research was conducted in the coastal area of East Surabaya on Kenjeran Beach, in December 2022. The results showed that the mangrove vegetation was dominated by Avicennia marina species with a density of mangroves in the tree category. The mangrove sapling category ranges from 533.3 ind/ha.-1166.7 ind/ha. Meanwhile, the density of mangroves in the seedling category ranges from 366.7 -ind/ha.-1300 ind/ha. The average total percent canopy cover is 83.37. The overall tree level density is rare, while the tillers and seedlings are dense. The percentage of mangrove cover is high so that it is included in the good category. The Mangrove Important Value Index (INP) obtained is moderate.
