Abstract

Biometrik Kerang Darah (Tegillarca granosa), Linnaeus 1758 Di Perairan Muara
Sungai Kali Dodo, Desa Menco, Kabupaten Demak. Retno Hartati dan Chrisna
Adhi Suryono).
Kerang darah (Tegillarca granosa) adalah salah satu jenis bivalvia yang
sering dijual di daerah Pesisir Demak. Penangkapan yang berlebihan terhadap
kerang darah sangat berpengaruh terhadap ukuran panjang dan beratnya.
Lingkungan daerah Menco yang sangat mumpuni untuk perkembangan kerang
darah. Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang Morfometri Kerang darah A.granosa
pada muara Desa Menco pada bulan Mei 2023 selama 3 hari. Tujuan penelitian
ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara panjang cangkang, lebar cangkang,
tebal cangkang, berat daging dan berat total serta mengetahui ukuran layak
tangkap A.granosa di Demak. Hubungan morfometri dianalisis menggunakan
analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan panjang dan lebar cangkang,
panjang dan tebal cangkang serta panjang dan berat total berkorelasi kuat positif
(0.80 ≤ r ≤ 1.00); `Kelas ukuran A.granosa yang didapatkan di lokasi penelitian
umumnya telah memenuhi standar ukuran layak tangkap yaitu > 3 cm.
Kata kunci: Kerang darah (Tegillarca granosa), morfometri, moluska, indeks
kondisi.

Tegillarca granosa blood clam is a type of bivalves that is often sold in
the Demak Coastal area. Over-fishing of blood clams greatly affects their length
and weight. The environment of the Menco area is very suitable for the
development of blood cockle. A study was conducted on the morphometry of
A.granosa blood clams in the estuary of Menco Village in May 2023 for 3 days.
The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between shell length,
shell width, shell thickness, meat weight and total weight and to determine the
appropriate size for catching A.granosa in Demak. Morphometric relationships
were analyzed using regression analysis. The results showed that the length and
width of the shell, the length and thickness of the shell and the length and total
weight had a strong positive correlation (0.80 ≤ r ≤ 1.00); `The size class of
A.granosa obtained at the study site generally met the size standard for catching,
namely > 3 cm.
