(Lakhifur Rohman Perdana Putra. 26020118140041. Penggunaan Recombinant Growth Hormone (rGH) Pada Pakan Dengan Interval Waktu Yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Gurame (O. gouramy). Sarjito dan Tristiana Yuniarti). Ikan gurame (O. gouramy) merupakan salah satu ikan komoditas air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Ikan gurame memiliki pertumbuhan yang relatif lambat. Adapun salah satu cara untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan benih ikan gurame (O. gouramy) dapat dilakukan dengan merangsang percepatan pertumbuhan melalui aplikasi recombinant growth hormone (rGH) pada pakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penambahan rGH pada pakan dengan interval waktu berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan benih ikan gurame (O. gouramy) serta mengetahui interval waktu terbaik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 November – 12 Desember 2022 di Balai Budidaya Ikan Air Tawar Ngrajek, Magelang, Jawa Tengah. Ikan uji yang digunakan adalah benih ikan gurame (O. gouramy) umur 90 hari, bobot 2,06±0,06 gr dan panjang 4,09±0,06 cm. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan interval waktu yang berbeda. dan masing-masing 3 ulangan. Perlakuan A (tanpa pemberian rGH), B (pemberian rGH 3 hari sekali), C (pemberian rGH 4 hari sekali) dan D (pemberian rGH 5 hari sekali). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan rGH pada pakan dengan interval waktu berbeda pada benih ikan gurame (O. gouramy) berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap total konsumsi pakan (TKP), rasio konvensi pakan (FCR), laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR), pertumbuhan bobot mutlak dan panjang mutlak. Interval waktu terbaik adalah perlakuan B (pemberian rGH 3 hari sekali yang menghasilkan TKP 23,98±2,08 g, FCR 0,92±0,09%, SGR 2,56±0,07%/hari, Bobot Mutlak 2,60 ±0,10 g dan Panjang Mutlak 2,78±0,04 cm dan SR 96,67±5,77%.

Gouramy (O. gouramy) is a freshwater commodity fish that has high economic value. Gouramy has a relatively slow growth while one way to accelerate the growth of gouramy (O. gouramy) seeds can be done by stimulating accelerated growth through the application of recombinant growth hormone (rGH) in feed. This study aims to determine the addition of rGH at different time intervals on the growth and survival of gouramy (O. gouramy) fry and to determine the best time interval. This research was conducted on November 1 - December 12 2022 at the Taar Ngrajek Air Fish Cultivation Center, Magelang, Central Java. The test fish used was carp (O. gouramy). The method used was an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications each with different time intervals. Treatment A (without giving rGH), B (giving rGH every 3 days), C (giving rGH every 4 days) and D (giving rGH every 5 days). The results showed that the addition of rGH to feed at different time intervals for carp (O. gouramy) fry had a significant (P<0.05) effect on TKP, FCR, SGR, absolute weight growth, absolute length. The best time interval for giving rGH-added feed to the growth and survival of gouramy (O. gouramy) fry was treatment B (giving rGH once every 3 days) which produced TKP 23.98 ± 2.08 g, FCR 0.92 ± 0.09 , SGR 2.56 ± 0.07%, Absolute Weight 2.60 ± 0.10 g, Absolute Length 2.78 ± 0.04 cm and SR 96.67 ± 5.77%.
