ABSTRAK
(Eka Salma Afifah Putri, 26050119120010.
dan klorofil-a.
mengikuti pola distribusi arus. Distribusi MPT dan klorofil-a terbagi menjadi tiga
klorofil-a.

ABSTRACT
(Eka Salma Afifah Putri, 26050119120010. Analysis of Suspended Solids Material and Their Effect on Chlorophyll-A Concentration Based on 2D Hydrodynamic Modeling in Slamaran Waters, Pekalongan City. (Muhammad Helmi and Warsito Atmodjo).
Slamaran waters have a fairly high sedimentation rate which will cause
suspended solids in the waters due to tides and currents. Suspended solid material
(MPT) can have an impact on increasing the concentration of chlorophyll-a
which has the potential to cause eutrophication in marine waters. This study aims
to determine the concentration and spatial distribution of MPT and chlorophyll-a.
This research was conducted using MPT and chlorophyll-a data obtained from
field survey analysis. To determine the distribution of currents affecting MPT and
chlorophyll-a, 2D hydrodynamic modeling was carried out with Mike DHI 21
software. The results showed that the MPT concentrations obtained varied
between 56,67 - 76 mg/L, while the concentrations of chlorophyll-a recorded
ranged from 0,529 – 1,71µg/l. The dynamics of MPT and chlorophyll-a content in
Slamaran waters is influenced by the input of organic matter from the upstream to
the estuary and its distribution follows the current distribution pattern. The
distribution of MPT and chlorophyll-a is divided into three groups, with a trend
from the west to the northeast and from the coastline to the middle of the sea. In
addition, there is a very strong positive relationship (r = 0,7730) between the
concentration of MPT and chlorophyll-a and it is known that 59,76% of the
concentration of MPT in Slamaran Waters affects the concentration of chlorophyll-a.
