Abstract

ABSTRAK
Nida Izzatin Nisa’. 26030117130061. Pola Distribusi Pemasaran Udang Putih
(Penaeus sp.) di Kota Semarang. (Dian Wijayanto dan Faik Kurohman)
Kota Semarang termasuk dalam wilayah pantai Utara Jawa yang memiliki potensi
perikanan. Udang putih (Penaeus sp.) yang merupakan salah satu hasil perikanan
tangkap di Kota Semarang. Udang putih ditangkap menggunakan alat tangkap sodo
yang termasuk dalam pukat dorong (Pushnet). Konsumsi udang yang meningkat
dikarenakan banyak peminatnya baik konsumen lokal bahkan untuk ekspor. Pemasaran
udang putih (Penaeus sp.) di Kota Semarang didistribusikan melalui nelayan, pengepul,
pedagang dan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis margin
pemasaran, distribusi pemasaran, dan efisiensi pemasaran udang putih di Kota
Semarang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan
pengambilan sampel sebanyak 95 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah
analisis pendapatan pelaku pemasaran, margin pemasaran, distribusi pemasaran, dan
efisiensi pemasaran udang putih. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu nilai margin pemasaran
saluran pemasaran 1 total margin yaitu 36.614 rupiah dengan presentase 66%.
Sementara itu, total margin saluran pemasaran 2 yaitu 41.907 rupiah dengan presentase
68%. Total margin saluran pemasaran 3 yaitu 46.014 rupiah dengan presentase 71%.
Total margin saluran pemasaran 4 yaitu 46.014 rupiah dengan presentase 71%.
Distribusi udang putih mengalami penundaan, dikarenakan transportasi terhambat saat
pandemi dan produksi udang putih yang menurun, menjadikan distribusi kurang merata.
Nilai efisiensi pemasaran saluran pertama sebesar 0,01. Nilai efisiensi pemasaran
saluran kedua sebesar 0,03. Nilai efisiensi pemasaran saluran ketiga yang diperoleh dari
pedagang kecil 0,01 dan pedagang sedang 0,03. Nilai efisiensi pemasaran saluran
keempat diperoleh dari pedagang pengumpul udang kupas sebesar 0,11. Nilai efisiensi
keempat saluran tersebut dikatakan efisien karena nilainya kurang dari 1.

The city of Semarang is located on the northern coast of Java, which has fishing
potential. White shrimp (Penaeus sp.) which is one of the caught fishery products
in Semarang City. Sodo prawns are caught using sodo fishing gear, which is
included in a push net. The increasing consumption of shrimp is due to the large
demand for both local consumers and even exports. The marketing of white
shrimp (Penaeus sp.) in Semarang City is distributed through fishermen,
collectors, traders, and consumers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the
marketing margins, marketing distribution, and efficiency of white shrimp in the
city of Semarang. This research method uses purposive sampling with a sample of
95 respondents. The analytical method used is the analysis of marketers' income,
marketing margins, marketing distribution, and marketing efficiency of white
shrimp. The results of this study are the value of the marketing margin on
marketing channel 1 is 36,614 rupiah with a percentage of 66%. Meanwhile, the
total margin in marketing channel 2 is 41,907 rupiah with a percentage of 68%.
The total margin in marketing channel 3 is 46,014 rupiah with a percentage of
71%. The total margin in marketing channel 4 is 46,014 rupiah with a percentage
of 71%. The distribution of white shrimp has been delayed, because
transportation delays during the pandemic. The production of white shrimp is
decreasing, making the distribution less even. The value of marketing efficiency of
the first channel is 0.01. Meanwhile, the value of marketing efficiency on the
second channel is 0.03, the value of marketing efficiency in the third channel
obtained from small traders is 0.01 and medium traders is 0.03 and the value of
marketing efficiency in the four channels obtained from peeled shrimp collectors
is 0.11. The efficiency value on the four channels can be said to be efficient
because the value is less than 1.
