Abstract

ABSTRAK
Husnul Khotimah. 26050117120004. Analisis Kandungan Logam Berat (Pb dan
Cu) Pada Sedimen Dasar di Perairan Muara Sungai Genuk, Semarang (Baskoro
Rochaddi dan Sri Yulina Wulandari).
Perairan Genuk, Semarang merupakan daerah yang terdapat banyak aktivitas
manusia maupun aktivitas industri. Adanya aktivitas tersebut memberikan
dampak terhadap konsentrasi logam berat pada sedimen dasar di perairan tersebut.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan logam berat Pb, Cu dan
bahan organik serta mengetahui korelasi antara konsentrasi logam berat dan bahan
organik dengan ukuran butir di perairan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan untuk
analisis logam berat adalah Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) yang
dilakukan di Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan PAK Semarang, sedangkan fraksi
sedimen dianalisis menggunakan metode pengayakan basah. Hasil penelitian
diperoleh bahwa kandungan logam berat Cu lebih tinggi dibandingkan logam
berat Pb yaitu logam berat Cu 10,626 – 17,18 mg/kg dan logam berat Pb 4,644 –
8,571 mg/kg, sedangkan persentase fraksi sedimen di semua stasiun penelitian
didominasi oleh fraksi lanau. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan korelasi yang positif
antara logam berat Pb dan Cu dengan fraksi pasir masing-masing yaitu sebesar
0,7614 dan 0,5515. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat hubungan positif antara karbon
organik dengan fraksi sedimen lanau dan lempung dengan nilai masing-masing r
= 0,5639 dan r = 0,4091.

Cu) in Bottom Sediment in the Waters of the Estuary of the Genuk River,
Semarang (Baskoro Rochaddi dan Sri Yulina Wulandari).
Genuk Waters, Semarang is an area with many human and industrial activities.
The existence of these activities has an impact on heavy metal concentrations in
the bottom sediments of these waters. This study aimed to determine the content of
heavy metals Pb, Cu and organic matter and determine the correlation between
the concentration of heavy metals and organic matter with the grain size in these
waters. in these waters. The method used for heavy metal analysis was Atomic
Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) conducted at the PAK Health Laboratory. In
contrast, the sediment fraction was analyzed using the wet sieving method. The
results showed that the content of heavy metal Cu was higher than heavy metal
Pb, namely heavy metal Cu 10,626 – 17,18 mg/kg and heavy metal Pb 4.644 –
8,571 mg/kg. At the same time, the proportion of sediment fraction in all research
stations was dominated by silt fraction. The correlation test results showed a
positive correlation between heavy metals Pb and Cu with sand fraction of 0.7614
and 0.5515, respectively. In this study, there was a positive relationship between
organic carbon and the fraction of silt and clay sediments with values of r =
0.5639 and r = 0.4091, respectively.
