Abstract
ABSTRAK
Diyah Permatasari. 26030117130052. Analisis Alat Penangkap Ikan Ramah
Lingkungan Berbasis Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries (CCRF) di PPP
Tawang, Kabupaten Kendal, Jawa Tengah (Aziz Nur Bambang dan Aristi Dian
Purnama Fitri).
Penggunaan teknologi ramah lingkungan yang sesuai dengan kriteria Code of
Conduct for Responsible Fisheries (CCRF) perlu diperhatikan oleh nelayan di
PPP Tawang. Hal tersebut dikarenakan adanya penggunaan alat tangkap yang
tidak ramah lingkungan akan mengakibatkan kerusakan ekosistem bahkan
overfishing. Alat penangkap ikan di PPP Tawang yang digunakan dalam
penelitian yaitu gill net, bubu, arad dan purse seine. Teknik pengambilan
responden yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik snowball sampling
dengan jumlah responden nelayan gill net 100 responden, nelayan bubu 50
responden, nelayan arad 100 responden dan nelayan purse seine 60 responden.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis alat penangkapan ikan yang
sesuai dengan kriteria CCRF dan menentukan R/C ratio alat penangkapan ikan di
PPP Tawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil
yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah alat tangkap gill net dan alat tangkap
bubu di PPP Tawang termasuk ke dalam kategori alat tangkap yang sangat ramah
lingkungan dengan skor secara berurutan yaitu 32,84 dan 32,28, sedangkan alat
tangkap purse seine termasuk ke dalam kategori alat tangkap yang ramah
lingkungan dengan skor 23,28 dan alat tangkap arad termasuk ke dalam kategori
alat tangkap yang tidak ramah lingkungan dengan skor 15,75. Analisis kelayakan
usaha dengan menggunakan metode Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C ratio) pada alat
tangkap gill net, bubu, arad dan purse seine secara berurutan 1,64; 1,95; 1,80; dan
1,44. Nilai tersebut tergolong dalam R/C ratio >1, sehingga usaha perikanan di
PPP Tawang layak dijalankan.

The use of environmentally friendly technology that complies with the criteria of
the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries (CCRF) needs to be considered by
fishermen at PPP Tawang. This is because the use of fishing gear that is not
environmentally friendly will cause damage to the ecosystem and even overfishing.
Fishing tools at PPP Tawang used in the study are gill net, trap, trawl and purse
seine. The respondent retrieval technique used in this study is snowball sampling
technique with the number of gill net fishermen respondents 100 respondents, trap
fishermen 50 respondents, trawl fishermen 100 respondents and purse seine
fishermen 60 respondents. The purpose of this study is to analyze fishing
equipment that complies with CCRF criteria and determine the R/C ratio of
fishing equipment at PPP Tawang. The research method used is descriptive
method. The results obtained from this study are gill net fishing gear and bubu
fishing gear at PPP Tawang belong to the category of very environmentally
friendly fishing gear with consecutive scores of 32.84 and 32.28, while purse
seine fishing gear is included in the category of environmentally friendly fishing
gear with a score of 23.28 and arad fishing gear is included in the category of
non- environmentally friendly fishing gear with a score of 15.75. Business
feasibility analysis using the Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C ratio) method on gill net,
trap, trawl and purse seine fishing gear sequentially 1.64; 1,95; 1,80; and 1.44.
This value is included in the R / C ratio >1, so that the fisheries business in PPP
Tawang is worth running.
